this says it all about Blades fans. Jordan Stewart,free agent,slated by many dbefore he has signed as he must be rubbish as he is a free agent and no one wants him.

Cameroon International,free agent,looking for a club but apparantly will be a great signing. (maybe he looks good on Champ Manager !)

It must also sum up Premiership Portsmouth, Bolton and Wolves, who all had him on trial this summer.

Perhaps, given the fact they didn't take him on, and we may well have discussed him with those managers... we wanted to make sure we took a closer look at him before risking some cash on him?

Wolves "nearly" signed him a few years ago, but his agent entered "advanced talks" with them in order to negociate a better deal with PSG.

I know I'd be fairly annoyed if we went around blindly signing players just because the press and rumour mills have them linked with some big clubs.
