MKD / Ugo Chant

Afternoon blades. As you may have already worked out by the title, I reckon the almost 8 thousand strong blades contingency heading down to MK this weekend should get a chant going, to pay our respects for former cult hero centre half Ugo Ehiogu who sadly lost his life this morning.

As he was our number 33 (I believe?!) perhaps a rousing 'UGO, UGO' on the 33rd minute would be appropriate?

I understand that before the match there will be a tribute (presumably applause) at all the games of the teams that he played for. If we add the "Ugo Ugo" chant on 33 minutes that would be befitting for one of the best defenders ever to play for us. He was both a class footballer and gentleman

Yes! I remember singing that for ages after he scored vs Preston in a 1-0 win. Tô the tune of Sheff United.

I was going to ask whether it was just my memory playing tricks on me, or if this was an actual chant. Glad you've clarified, happy memories singing Ugo's name for 10-15 minutes on end. He was a bit of a cult hero for us, we really took to him. RIP Ugo, such a shame.
