Think i'll stand out in the home end wearing fancy dress???

As long as you look miserable when we score...

I got a static caravan with a PE post code but that's near Skegg Vegas, MK must have fans all over England, must be bigger than the massive.

If it is just down to the Police surely alot of fans travelling down without tickets might make them think again.
It must surely be easier to Police fans inside the ground than having fans roaming about outside as well as inside the ground.
I know this happened at Northampton but they didn't have alot of choice.
MK have the space to accommodate more fans I believe.

We've got mk tickets based on sufficient loyalty points, but would far sooner have been able get in to the Northampton game.

I know several people who managed to get to that game through contacts with far less points than me, which was gutting on Saturday afternoon.

So it's not perfect, but what else can the club do?
Likewise.

Well it looks like my idea of buying MK Dons v Rochdale tickets and having them posted to a postcode outside of Sheffield was totally flawed :(

I'm sorted but how easy is it to get home tickets? Pay on the day or not?
I know a few that haven't got tickets yet.

UTB

In the old days we would have just kicked the gates down and piled in. ;)

Can you get as many tickets as you like if you were previously registered on their system?

If so then there's a good opportunity for MK fans to make some money.

Merton borough postcodes not accepted then?

Unless previously registered on our ticketing system we will only be accepting bookings from the following postcodes MK, LU, SG, NN, OX, HP, CB, PE, AL, CV. Please note that only a maximum of 4 tickets can be purchased per person. Supporters wishing to purchase 5 or more tickets should contact the Box Office directly on 0333 2005343. Away tickets can only be purchased directly from Sheffield United.

MK Dons have had an average attendance of about 10,000 this season, and I read somewhere they have the space to add a third tier to take the capacity to 45,000. Must be pretty disappointing when they can't fill a third of their ground yet they still have plans to add 15,000 more seats

Agree itz, on the face of it it just seems naive at best to expect another 35k fans to materialise. I've just had a quick read on BBC sport and it is made clear that football isn't their main target.
Egg chasing gets a lot bigger crowds and other events such as concerts are above football on their agenda.

It really is crazy to deny 4, 5, 6k paying punters access they must be minted if they can throw away 100 maybe 120 thousand pounds. Are we really that bad!?

Isn't down to the local police that we are being restricted? Is there any chance of us getting any more? I was told both United and mkd agreed but local coppers wouldn't, cannot see us being any trouble so surely common sense says give us more, didn't wolves get 10k?

Wolves wanted 10K but were given 8,800
Coventry wanted 10K but were given 7,000.

No club has ever taken 10K to MKD
And no club has ever outnumbered the home support at that stadium.

Apparently they doing something quite honourable.
They will make a lot of money from our near 8K and don't need to extra revenue from selling a few 1000 more. At least they keep their record of never having been outnumbered by away fans

We had a similar thing the other week at home to Bolton whose fans couldn't believe we weren't giving them the bottom tier so we lost money on it by giving the stand to our fans

My brother in law has a CV postcode, didn't think Nuneaton was anywhere near MK but they accept bookings from there???

Our decision on the Bolton match is not quite similar. We didn't take that decision because we were concerned that our fans would be outnumbered.

If Winkleman had put something into place that meant all those seats would be occupied with MKD fans then I wouldn't have an issue. But to have thousands of empty seats when there is a demand is ludicrous.

Your family members may have to give their postman a tip.... lots of post heading your way I reckon.

Don't forget that any bank card used to pay must be registered to the same address. So they will need to pay (obviously you just transfer it all).

And don't you need to have proof of address on the Gate as well? Seems very OTT to me.

I'm sorted so doesn't affect me but I know others that aren't.
