Aha well, Norwich fan here in peace.

Arturo Lupoli is a bit of a mixed bag. By that i mean, his scoring record suggests he gets the goals, but his ability and performances sometimes suggest indifference.

Physically, he struggles against most defenders, and thats obvious and clear to see. On the other hand, he scores goals, so maybe i'm being a bit too harsh. That was at least, Roeder's reason for not playing him much under us.

He seemed to fall out with the players, or at least the management. It will, at the very least, be interesting to see how well he does for you. He could be a flop, or he could bang them in.

Ah that's good he should fit in well here.

cheers for the info fella and welcome to the forum.

I agree it will be interesting to see how he performs and where he fits into the team.

On a very similar note I'm also interested in seeing how Carney fits into your team and how he plays for you! :D

Oh thanks for reminding me MAQ. I was interested in knowing about him! Even if it is going slightly off-topic. I here he likes to pass the ball, in the same sense that we typically play.

Also, there were several rumours of you being interested in Croft..was there any truth in that?

Aye, what do you think to that one?

EDIT: Just seen your post above... Carney is apparently a good passer of the ball, but he'll actually have to receive the ball first. He's as nesh as anything so don't expect any challenges out of him, and his control was so poor against Huddersfield in the Cup that the players gave up trying to pass to him... because the ball either trickled out or his marker got it off him the first time of asking.

I 1st seen Lupoli play when he played against us on a cold march night in 2005.

He was f*cking dire, subbed at half time, just never competed.

Hopefully 4 years on he will be able to compete, but to be honest i'll be surprised if he gets near the starting XI.

Shall i phone the club up and suggest that we get ourselfs a pair of wingers?

because it seems like the management have no idea they are playing a right footed striker on the left wing and a right back on the right wing.

Cotts Sun Hendrie Quinn

its not hard, the players are already there

edit - need a left winger actually

Aha sorry for bringing this topic back up.
Just to let you know, Carney came on at half-time against Wolves and was actually pretty good. Put some very good balls into the box and cause quite a few problems. In line for a start tomorrow!
Am i right in saying Lupoli wasn't in your squad for your Southampton match?

He wasn't signed in time to b in the squad and the weather also caused problems with him linking up with them.
Hope he's on the bench for tomorrow though.

give the guy a chance. he may play 2mz and score winner. dont be so negative blades
