...After they beat Leicester and progressed to the sixth round. Fixtures starting to pile up with the Coventry match also postponed...

We've been a bit gash of late in midweek home fixtures too. It always used to be a nailed on 3 points

Fucking fantastic.

More Tuesday home games, less rest between games.

Makes the utter throwaway today even worse.

Less of the negative vibes. The Cockney wankers will have their minds on the FA Cup.

Will it still be Milwall flag day? Or will they keep their powder dry in case they get the chance to cause some more bollocks at Wembley as they seem to like to?

Coventry and millwall would have brought a decent following too, shame as today showed that a decent following makes for a better atmosphere.

Depending on when the matches are re-arranged for it could work out well.

Hopefully it'll be the Tuesday after their cup matches. We can have our feet up while they are playing over the weekend.

That's my plans rightly fucked up :(

Me too, accept I'm not on a plane like you, but trains booked, mother in law expecting (not a kid just me), everything sorted and now will have to pretend to our lass there is a game on... Then sneak down Kelham Island for the valley of ale tour.

Just got to explain when she drops me off why there are no traffic jams, crowds and Millwall fans.. Any ideas welcome.

A right feckin fiasco...

At some point we will have to put on a good midweek performance at home. The law of averages states thus.

Bring on the cockney wankers, whenever they turn up.

28th march or 4th april it looks like the only option

Agree, those are free weekends and I'm sure the Millwall game will be in one of those slots.

The Coventry game is taking a bit of time to arrange.
Makes me wonder if SU might play it in the final week between the MK Dons and Chesterfield games.
Playing it so late in the season might mean we see a bumper crowd, even on a Tuesday night.

Nice to see this get out of the cup idea so we dont have to rearrange league fixtures going so well. Because we've so far we've only had to rearrange 3rd round 4th round quarter final & efl trophy final dates

It's not the re-arranging of fixtures that is a problem! It's having extra matches in the cup that is the issue.

Whats up with playing them on 7th March or do they have a fixture that night?
They might play a weakened side before their cup game.
They are 7th though and playoff are within reach for them.

Millwall are free but we play our re-arranged game away to Oxford in 7th March.

We play Oxford on 7th March.

I reckon the only available dates are 28 March, 4 April and 25 April. I understood the FL rules are that clubs should accept the earliest possible available dates. I think it's unlikely that the 25 April date would be used as this means 3 games in the last week for both sides.

I'd have to check but potentially Coventry could be 21 March. Millwall couldn't commit to that as it could be an FA cup replay date for them.

Don't see it that way at all.

If Millwall had lost yesterday that would mean we would play Oxford away on Tuesday 7th March, followed by Millwall as originally planned on 11th March, then we would have another match on Tuesday 14th March at Swindon.

In other words, if we were to play the Millwall fixture on the original date we would have two games in a week. Not playing them gives us a standard week's gap between the Oxford and Swindon matches.

All we will do is move the Millwall game to a free midweek slot, meaning we have just moved this particular two games in a week scenario to another (probably later) part of the season.

The bollocks at Wembley was between two rival sets of Millwall supporters from different areas.

Just realised we now only have 2 Saturday home games left this season ffs
