This one's going to be on telly. ESPN in the USA has it, and it could be picked up by more channels before the weekend

Yes I know its the rules for that. The thing is I personally without absolutely no doubt whatsoever would rather see us win the fa cup rather than any promotion, not even a close comparison but because it basically isn't going to happen, virtually everyone, me included unfortunately just write it off, very sad.
I agree, I'd love to see us win a cup in my lifetime, however when it gets to the later rounds the top teams will play their better players and as a Championship club you've got no chance of competing, even in a one-off game.

That might be more to do with foreign rights compared to the league. May well be the case that, like the PL, the States have rights to show every single cup game. Doesn't mean it will appear over here except on dodgy boxes, or in other territories

Yes can see that one coming , can also see that the whole of the BLUT given over to said prem team and another bunfight over tickets as in the florist playoff game😠😠

We must all be on the same page here.
Play 2nd string and try to win but let's rotate players.

Start Davies, Robinson, Basham, Jebbison, Brooks, khadra (if allowed) and any other players from academy or coming back from injury.

Give N'Diaye full rest along with likes of Norwood too.

We have to take the cup lightly.
As much as I would love to have good go at it one season.
Yes. I don’t even want us to win. There’s a risk we’ll get a big tie and the first team players will want to play, risking further injuries. We’re not going to win the cup and we don’t need the distraction or extra games. Play the kids and the players who need game time to get their fitness.

I hear you and my brain 100% agrees

But my heart says get fucked, I want Man U at the Lane

I like my heart

Davies

Basham Gordon Robinson

Bogle Doyle Osborn Boyes

Marsh Brooks

Jebbison

A mixture of youth and players needing match fitness. Wes, Baldock, Anel, Egan, Clark, Lowe, Stevens, Norwood, Berge, Ndiaye, McAtee, Sharp, McBurnie have a week off.
Isn’t Boyes on loan still or have we recalled him?

I’d go with most of that but I’d probably play Sachdev over Bogle, maybe give him 20 minutes at the end for fitness but I wouldn’t take any risks with him.

I’m not clicking on that, although the headline means I don’t have to. Seems odd as he’d played plenty of games for them. Either we’re planning to loan him to a better club or he’s here as back up and we might as well play him against Millwall.

Think some people are being daft with their team selections. We have one of the biggest squads in the division, I highly doubt any 'Youth' will be starting, especially with how poor (not results wise) we've been recently and a week either side of the fixture to rest up.

Davies

Basham Gordon Robinson

Bogle Doyle Osborn Lowe

Macatee Kheadrea

Jebbison

Then the bench should be people coming back from Injuries and Brooks/Sanchev/Arblaster.

I'd also be tempted to put Egan in and swap Gordon/Robinson at half time.

I think we need to use this opportunity to give Doyle a go in the Norwood role. He's the only logical replacement we have should Norwood find himself suspended or injured. I'm sure I read that he did that role for Cardiff last year where he was excellent at reading the game and pinging the ball around.

Boyes is cup-tied I’m afraid.

We played a 4-4-2 diamond at the end of the game yesterday so why not go with that and give Millwall no rehearsal for the league game?

Also allows us to rest more key defenders:

—————-Davies——————-
Bogle-Basham-Robinson-Stevens
——————Doyle——————-
Coulibaly————————Osborn
——————McAtee——————
——Sharp—————Jebbison—-

Bit of an assumption on the midfield two there but if Coulibaly is back in training, when else will he get a run out, even if only 45 mins, likewise Osborn is supposedly close, though you never know with Hecky.

Just thinking of how to rest as many as possible.

I was also tempted with Coulibaly, about time he kicked a ball.

I'd start Davies, Bogle, Bash, Robinson, Lowe, Doyle and Jebbison - they all need minutes.
The other 4 I'll let Hecky decide.

With the right attitude and endeavour, our second string of players will beat Millwall. Keep the faith ⚔️.

FA cup lost all its muster for me, promotion is everything so lets rest a few legs!

Also if Khadra doesn't play hes defo on his way out.

could be a reserve game saturday and thats what the fa cup has become money comes before glory in modern football millwall wont be that bothered about progressing either

What a shame that this is our attitude to what was once the greatest cup competition in the world. Even as late as the early 00's I loved watching us in the FA cup, probably more so than in the league. That's definitely gone now, but it's a shame.

I'd say let's play the youngsters but who are they and where are they?

Brooks and Jebbo should be nailed on but apart from Arblaster who is ill who else is there?
