Yeah exactly, reviewed by VAR for violent contact, no red card.

So surely the VAR can’t have failed to notice that there was absolutely no contact with his face. So am I the only one left wondering why the referee wasn’t instructed to ask him why he’d gone down clutching his face??

If he’d walked up and given a free kick to Palace and red card to Milivojevic, it would have been a watershed moment and sent a message that feigning injury in an attempt to get a fellow professional sent off is unacceptable.

Hopefully there will be some retrospective punishment for the cheating twat, but I won’t hold my breath
