I know this isn't Blades related but watching Mike Dean referee the Bristol City v Man Utd is boiling my piss. He was itching to give the free kick for fuck all when that 6 foot 5 ponce Pogba took a dive..result, Man Utd are level. The fucking commentator is having a love in with Man U as well, the fucking child. How many times have you watched a match and what you talk about most is how Mike Dean has been a total fucking arse head. Don't get me started when Killgallon was sent off v the Pork. He's even worse when on a live game. "Look at me". And don't get me started on his fucking hand gestures when he gives a free kick, it's like he's apologising to fucking Man U if he has to award a free kick against them. The only hand gesture I have for Mike Dean is my thumb and forefinger meeting at the tips and then proceeding to go up and down quickly.

Do you mean " United" as the media now refer to them .. took great enjoyment in a talk sport caller tonight ripping into Danny Kelly and Goghie about this whole " United" thing . It's as though they've registered the brand . I don't blame Man U, or thier supporters, just the media twats

We should refer to them as Newton Heath

The OP states one of the great unifiers in the game, something on which all fans can agree. A bit like everyone hates diiirty Leeds.

Yes, but Bristol City managed to score a winner in Fergie time!

Did they chip a ball over and their bloke ran around a sleeping defence like when they scored a winner against us?.............

Totally agree. Iffy cheat and anti-us.

Burnley play-off final. Mimicked belly laugh at our fans when he was warming up and our fans were calling him for past misdeeds. Didnt give two blatant penalties on Howard and Walker, the latter being a 100 % blatant pull- back right in front of him and us, late in the game.

Blackwell probably shouldn't have called him out in the week before the game but that days it all.

Changed our history this man.

That decision v Rotherham was a real shock and totally contrived, routine argey -bargey in penalty area. Meaningless game anyway.

Nice to see Korey Smith has made a swift recovery from his broken leg

He had to get carried off, tha nose.

Sat watching the match nursing his smashed up foot later.

Worracunt

pommpey

Really? Regardless of the opinion on "was it a red card or not?" (Which it clearly fucking was), having a bloke smash halfway up your leg with both feet must hurt quite a bit. Pretty classless to suggest otherwise, especially given what happened to Coutts 2-3 week prior.

Much like Preston did a bit earlier in that game.

Pick Jake Wright - he talks to his defence.

This Man Utd / United thing by the media has now stretched into calling their neighbours City and to hell with anyone else.

On Tuesday night the newspapers, BBC Sport were all referring to Manchester City as 'City' even though their opponents were Leicester City.

Totally disrespectful. Manchester's a dump and totally overrated.

Mourinho has stated that Bristol were lucky -
"Mourinho said: "They were a bit lucky but they fought a lot to be lucky. Everyone was waiting for our goal so they were lucky. We hit the post twice."

We hit the wpodwork 4 times v Bristol City - how do they get all that luck? Good keeper helps as well and the ref on our case - 1st minute pen.

Only hit the post twice. Obviously not as good as us!

Did you see the Kane incident.
Far worse than Flecks
Connected with the man and no where near the ball.
In other times Fleck's would have not even been a foul.
It was a minimum yellow and given today's game it was a red. But it's the lack of consistency that annoys me. Often based on reputation.

That goal Flint scored which was disallowed.
Clever by Flint?
Naive by Keeper?

My view is that it should have stood.
Keeper has hold of the ball and has control and should look around him to ensure HE doesn't collide with another player.

You could argue it was attempting to slow the game down but it was a crowded area with players of both sides filtering back out so I don't buy that.

Would Dean have allowed it if it was Steele and Ibrahimavic?
Of course he would.

I don't see that it changes that Fleck was correctly sent off. In today's game it was a red, straight up. I think also in the Kane incident, the ref had had his back to it as the ball had gone about half an hour ago, I don't think he got a clear view of the tackle.
