Anyone remember him?

Was keeping our bench warm for a while in Blackwell's days. Been capped a dozen times for Estonia since leaving us and is now playing for SJK in the top flight in Finland. Blackwell did go on record as saying he would be his country's top keeper - so that's one he got right.

Yes he rings a bell, never saw him play though. Didn't we have a Maltese keeper at some point as well, something to do with the sponsorship thing at the time?

Justin Haber. Trialled ahead of the Premier League season but wasn't offered a contract before joining in the summer of 2008. He spent 2009-10 on loan at Ferencváros and was released when his United contract ran out in summer 2010.

We had a Maltese player, Daniel Bogdanovic, who we took from Barnsley, not sure about a keeper?

He never played for our first team. We sent him out on loan to Mansfield where he got some games, but spent most of his time crocked. Be interesting to know if he could do a job for us now.

We did get a couple of Estonian lads on here at the time. They were saying that as footy is so dire in Estonia, people tend to pick players to follow rather than teams - so a couple of Aksalu fans rocked up on S24SU - and disappeared with him. It was about the same time as we had a couple of regular posters from Ferecvaros on here too.

Ah, Mihkel Aksalu and Justin Haber. They were the calibre of permanent signings we made while we loaned our way into League 1. No wonder we went down, what a shit business model.

Anyone remember Elian Parrino?

Was looking at John Cofies career on Wikipedia. He's now playing for Chorley. What happened to him being a world beater??

Remember Man Utd fans claiming he'd tear up league one when we signed him, shows how out of touch they are.

Yep remember him, well the name, I don't remember if he was any good or not!

Scored a couple of goal of the season contenders then turned into an absolute abomination of a footballer.

Elian Parinno played a few in the Championship and did farely well if I remember rightly, unlike the Frenchy Jean Calve, he was awful apart from that worldy he scored against Preston I think

Parrino was just as bad as Calve.

He was brilliant in 'The Green Mile'.

Got me thinking about the back up keepers we've had over the years.

For every Kelly/Tracey combination there's a Sal Bibbo - whatever happened to him?

I was present for Mervyn Day's solitary game in a blades shirt, thank goodness.

Yeah vaguely didn't blackwell when he signed him say he was the best goalkeeper he'd ever seen on trial

At the time i thought elian parrino was decent in championship but in hindsight anyone wouldve looked good in a defence consisted of Taylor Ertl & Nosworthy, it was only when he returned next season in league 1 i realised how poor he'd become

I knew about John Cofie severe decline, as im sure this lot have been broadcasted their games on the radio

Blackwell signed more shit than Sirrel and Haslam combined.

Talking of unsuccessful Internationals at the lane, Ahmed Fathy, played all of 3 games for us, played over 100 for Egypt and won the african cup of nations I believe, and was player of the tournament in 2010

Does anyone remember the lad we signed under Warnock, who came on for a game then got subbed off in the same game cause he was shite, think the game was against Swansea maybe the season before we got promoted.

Last I heard he was Goalkeeping Coach at Reading.

Lee Baxter being another back up keeper with an infamous Blades career...
