I just hope that we play with a 4-4-2 on Sat with Hulse & CKR up front, I'd say Kabba but I think CKR is fitter and sharper at the moment.

With Tonge out A.Quinn could be first choice in midfield but he does have the tendancy to run at players with his head down and give the ball away and that I think could prove costly if he were to do that. But if he is playin like that he could be better on the wing (Pos Left side) and stick Gillespie further into the middle to run things with Leigertwood and I know it sounds strange (but it worked in the reserves against Middlesborough) Geary on the right.

Jags and Davis Centre backs with Bromby right back and Unsworth left back.

I just hope the fans turn up to support the team and not start getting on their backs. With a lot of the players, it's about confidence and booing them isn't going to do a great deal to help them.

I'd still be interested to see what Nade can do with Kazim-Richards behind him (oh behave!)

I certainly agree with the 4-4-2. It HAS to be IMO.
We must choose a team and formation that suits us, not the opposition. IMHO Middlesbrough are there for the taking. I'm not suggesting it'll be easy, but we can win and get our season up and running on Saturday.
However, if we lose (god forbid) then it'll pile on the already increasing pressure and throw further question marks over Neil as manager.
Bring on Saturday. Bring on Middlesbrough. Bring on the first win!

I'll admit I've been losing my cool over people's opinions on Warnock this, relegation that recently, but I'm just fed up of the ever biased press who suck up to the big teams big style and slag off clubs like us, and I'm fed up of seeing us being in that bottom spot. It wouldn't feel so bad if it the pigs or even better those dirty L**ds scumbags were rock bottom of the Championship.

But now I've got a renewed feeling of confidence now we're about to take on some of the more established Premiership sides who just fill up the table and after our performance against Arsenal.

Totally agree. Booing now won't make a jot of difference. We need to get 100% behind the players, even if (some of us) have doubts over the credentials of our manager.

Strange that cos i'm the same.
I gave up predcting scores a long time ago, but made the mistake of predicting a couple of early games which we didn't win
