Radio Sheffield have massively failed to ask any serious questions of United's hierarchy for at least two years.
Just sat there like a set of dummies replaying the usual cliched dribble. An utter failure by the main media outlet for football in our region to do its job.

When clubs have the ability to ban jounos from the ground however, its no real surprise. Its all nice and cozy when things are going well but when the shit hits the fan anyone who should actually carry the can goes into hiding. When did we last hear from McCabe in a geniune open forum where people have the right to call him a prick for what he has done? Its always behind the phone or at BDTBL where any naysayers can be ejected before it gets too awkward. Any good chairman would walk into the boozers around the ground without his cronies present and sit with the fans to discuss their reasons and opinions. You don't have to agree with them but you come out of it with massive respect for having a big enough pair to go and see them on their own patch.
I feel for Adams to an extent because all he can do it trot out cliche. He is as far out of his depth as you can get. Anyone with a brain realised that when he said he was surprised how many phone calls he got in a day. Well Micky, next season no fucker will be ringing you, there won't be a deluge of agents asking any questions apart from how the hell can they get their players out of this shambles of a club.

walker defended the clubs mismanagement to the hilt the last 2/3 years, i think this is what lenners is refering to in the case of bias (ie towards mccabe)

they know they are onto a good thing with the football coverage .. it's probably the highest listening figures they get, so they're terrified of rocking the boat with the club.. didn't the dingles ban them a couple of years ago?? if maccabe has anything about him he will come out and make a statement about what is going on and his plan for the club (what do you mean he doesn't have one??)

I doubt Radio Sheffield are alone in this but folk should expect more of a BBC station.
The club's been run appallingly but there's been no serious examination of any of it.
Walker's comments just shone a light on how far away from impartiality Radio Sheffield had and has become.

No surprise there then. They probably couldn't find the spare time after coming up with article after article about 'True Blades' renewing their season tickets.

To be fair to Radio Sheffield they are all a bunch of clueless halfwits. Asking them to do their jobs is like asking an alligator to fly a helicopter. Seth, Andy and the rest will not want to upset the status quo with any probing questions, such as "Why did you totally balls it up Kevin?" They are more than happy to slag off fans who call in, yet won't give any of those in charge at our region's clubs a proper grilling.

Completely agree with this, this is exactly the sort of signing we should be making, talented, hungry youngsters who will bolster the outstanding talent we already have coming through the ranks.
As I said on the Season Ticket thread, relegation is possibly exactly what our club needs, I am confident that in 5 years time I will be watching a predominantly home-grown Sheffield United team playing Premiership football.
