Cooper has had one good season

In general Ramsdale and henderson are better keepers
Ramsdale is better with his feet which appeals to PL teams, but he's error-prone. Cooper is a better keeper overall IMHO.
Hendo the best of the 3 but he relies on agility - with Cooper it's more about positioning and anticipation.

No it’s Fallowfield and will eventually be banned. I’d ignore it’s wumming but I have a fascination with human weakness and stupidity.

Human Weakness for having an opinion on a football forum , its not that deep Pal

And i am Wayne Allison it says it right there

Dont massiveley dissagree we have had 3 engalnd goalkeepers play for us right there

All keepers have clangers , henderson should have cost Palace the FA cup final with a stone wall red card but ends up a hero

I wasnt impressed by cooper in the play off final either he is not the level we have put him on just yet though he is a prem goalkeeper in waiting

Hate to say it, but Fallowfield seems to have a better knowledge of Ramsdale than some others.

Gets a bit silly to stubbornly say someone's bad at football when they've got caps for England and arguably in their prime age-wise.

Found myself watching Everton V West Ham in a friendly right now. Both keepers to blame for the goals, Wes for WHU and Travers for Everton. When you also factor in the fact Burnley have just sold Trafford I’m really finding it difficult to see how we keep Cooper. If you were Burnley or West Ham you would be morons not to buy Cooper for 15m.

Weren't Burnley meant to be looking at taking Ortega from Man City to replace Trafford? And the fella Sullivan has said explicitly that they aren't interested in Coops anyway. Wes is lucky he's even getting game time in friendlies really - he's only there so they can hit their required "home-grown" criteria more easily. Same as how Man City signed Scott Carson, and Man U signed Tom Huddlestone when they were both in their late 30s.

I'm not so sure.

Henderson was playing PL football at 22 and made earned an England cap at 23.

Cooper is 26 in October and has never played in the Premier League.
Cooper was very unlucky to have those w knee injuries. If not id fully expect he'd be a number one in the PL by now and we'd have had no chance of getting him last season.

4year contract to start ,with and he's worth more than £ 15 m

But he did have those injuries. He's only 2 years younger than Henderson, so I don't see how he will eventually be better than Henderson.

If he was 22/23 maybe. But he's nearly 26

tbf Cooper could have been responsible for a goal last night when he didnt control the ball and it ran under his foot and the right side of the post - his distribution with feet needs to improve a lot

He's a good goalkeeper. He's not a great goalkeeper. His distribution isn't as good as people make out and he often palms shots back towards the penalty spot. I'm happy to keep him but talk of 20-25 million is laughable really. Still time to improve and 26 isn't old for a goalkeeper. Saw people slagging him yesterday for their second goal but he had no chance. He should however have done better with Sunderlands winner IMO.

Snobbery I don't think he is fashionable not a big enough name teams would rather buy 2nd and 3rd choice keepers for stupid money from the bigger teams. The football snobbery bubble is getting bigger and bigger. Take Hakney from Boro £20m but to Ipswich ridiculously overpriced in my opinion yet no prem teams willing to take a punt. Why? Hopefully this snobbery works to our advantage??
