Far bigger club my arse
You think West Ham who sell out a 50/60k stadium in London aren’t a far bigger side than us

This "dire distribution" is being incredibly overplayed here.I really can't see his value rising significantly more than it is today. His dire distribution and use of his feet will get exposed in the Premier League at a team which passes out from the back. He's not worth double. Never will be. That put him in the top 20 of most expensive goalkeepers of all time.
It's like if enough people repeat it it becomes true despite being fairly wide of the mark. Cooper's kicking is good - I'm not sure he's top end premier League for footwork but few areThis "dire distribution" is being incredibly overplayed here.
His distribution seems fine to meThis "dire distribution" is being incredibly overplayed here.
Took us years to find Cooper been trying to get him since 2019 when he was hardly known. Trust me a keeper like Cooper cannot be replaced unless in the prem and then have 30MIf we sold him for 20/25 million and spent 15 mill on 2 or 3 players id be happy for him to go
I like cooper but there are other coopers out there
We just dont really know how much money the new owners have if we are all been honest

He’s our best keeper in decades. Mad view.I like cooper but there are other coopers out there
If either West Ham or Burnley are in he’s gone, either way. Looks at Ramsdale, shite for numerous relegation sides but he’s still getting a Newcastle move isn’t he
Cool. What’s the forfeit if you’re hugely wrong?I think my prediction of Cooper and Hamer going will likely happen.
New owners same old.

Same old boring moaning fans on here.I think my prediction of Cooper and Hamer going will likely happen.

Looks like the McCabe days are back. Vini, gone already, Cooper, Hamer and Moore to follow. No re-investment, if that happens, forget promotion.
Leicester keeper is better. Although he will leave to Newcastle.I don’t think his value drops if he stays. He will clearly be the best keeper in the championship next year.
Isn't that just good planning?Assuming Danny Hall reporting we are drawing up a list of replacements isn't "boring"?
I was just writing similar when you posted this. I'm hoping he doesn't get his head turned. We need to give it one more shot with Cooper. If we don't go up this season, then by all means sell him.
Selling him now would be such a mental blow. Not to mention a pretty significant downgrade in goal.
Comparing Cooper and Trafford in terms of value is wrong.
Burnley paid £14 million for Trafford from the best team in the world at the time, but even then Man City had a hefty sell on clause. He was the U-21 keeper and odds on to be the next England keeper. He is being resigned by one of the biggest clubs in the world.
We paid £2 million for Cooper. From a poor Championship side and he played most of his games in League 1. We're in the division below. We're not selling to a club owned by a country. He's never been capped, at a y age group, as far as I'm aware. he's 2-3 years older. We aren't getting anything like £20 million for him. Before you even factor in the fact he's poor with his feet. A must in the top flight.
The best United keeper I've ever seen was Alan Kelly and I don't think we got a million for him.
It's not just about ability.
And for clarity, I don't want to sell him but if the owners are doing a buy low sell high policy then he's probably not getting much higher value and the value will decrease as his contract runs down.
The game has long gone at the top level in terms of fees but it's only really for 'trendy' players and clubs. Look at Felix. The general madness around the money paid for him. But I'm not seeing it trickle down that quickly. In a sense, that's why we got Burrows and Cooper for a relative steal.Whilst I do think, playing ability wise, he's a £20m player.. there's a lot of logic in this.

Hes not ramsdale and henderson are better and paddy kenny has done more than he has at the lane
