THAT season is all the more amazing considering he's only scored 30 odd goals in almost 20 years as a pro.

According to soccerbase, 53 goals in his career, of which 22 came in one season, and 31 spread over the remainder of his career at about 2 goals a season. Over achievement during one season, or under achievement during the other 19 seasons (or a function of where he was played)?
