😄 Forest taking legal action over a clause they put in his contract. What a bunch of scummy cunts they are:

Forest are to prevent Tottenham from committing the crime of…. paying a release clause, something they agreed to put in when giving MGW a contract.

Scummy bastards.

The Forest owner doesn't half like throwing his weight around. Then again, he's got plenty. First legal action over Palace, now this. It's not like they've never broken rules before. They had two transfer embargos prior to getting promoted due to FFP breaches. They overspent and breached again resulting in a points deduction. Then they did their dodgy little sale of an academy player to Everton for significant profit and bought an academy player from Everton in the same deal to avoid further sanctions. They've sold numerous academy players to sister club Olympiakos to fund transfer windows and escape FFP. They are one of the biggest most corrupt cheats out of anyone. If Spurs have done anything here then the Forest owner needs to shut the fuck up. Hypocritical knobhead.

Liam Delap did the same with Ipswich, signed for them for around 20m, with a 30m release clause.
It was a £30m relegation release clause for Delap, I think the 'full' release was £40m. Similar but slightly different.

On FOReST...fuck them, fuck their scumbag fans, fuck their dodgy owner and fuck the dogs they rode in on.

A couple of inaccuracies in there.

No academy player was sold to Everton. Vlachodimos was sold to Newcastle for 20m and we paid 35 for Elliot Anderson so we paid more out of that. It was mutually beneficial but Newcastle were mainly doing it for the FFP.

No academy players have gone to olympiakos, we have tended to buy players and loan them there. One or two may have been sold there but not at the inflated prices you might think.

No legal action was raised against palace. That's just wrong.

It feels like owning football clubs is a murky world and I'm not suggesting that there haven't been ethically grey things going on but wanted to clear those bits up.

I think it seems to be due to confidentiality issues which is agent/player related but Tottenham might've fucked it up. The deal went from nothing to him having a medical, possibly without having sorted it with forest.

Apparently he was in the promo for the new shirt that was released yesterday which had to be amended in the afternoon. Suggests it was a bolt out of the blue for the club.

Weird situation though no doubt.

Wish him all the best at Spurs. At Forest it's much harder. I really hope he leaves Forest. I'd even rather he play for Leeds over Forest!

Clubs always know the release clause of players.

Seems bizarre that Forest think there's been some unique skulduggery because Spurs bid the buyout clause...

Seems a shithouse trick not to honour the lads contract.

Thanks for clearing all that up.

Can you tll us who put out the social media post about the PL refs being corruot, that you got the near £1m fine for?

Can you also explain why no part of your ground was closed, after your scumbag fans headbuted one of our players, on the pitch?

This wasn't included in the above post so didn't think it needed clearing up. im not sure it was ever determined who authored/sent it. But the message was from the official Forest account. I'm not sure that corrupt was used in the post.

(I genuinely misread the above as carrot which made me smile. Just the thought of Gary Neville trying to decipher what the tweet meant on live TV would've been great.)

Because the hearing into that incident didn't give that as the punishment. Simple as that. If they had given that punishment then it would've happened.

Hope this helps.

Yeah it is a bit retaliatory.

I do think this is about the how it's happened rather than the fact he might leave.

If we did the same to you with Hamer I think thered be plenty slagging forest on here. Not that it takes much 😜

If Hamer had a release clause, you guys met it... and our owners went legal... I think we'd all be scratching our heads at our club. Not yours.

Anyway, haven't you boys got a dog to be shagging?
Just watch out for the one-legged McBurnie!

😉

Sounds to me as if someone has breached an NDA and given Spurs the release figure. That is what Forest are complaining about about and with some justification.

"Right Morgan, we've given you a release clause that is rather low compared to your actual value. Don't tell anyone about it though, or we'll be fucking mad!"

why is Nottingham forest such a noncey football club

It might not be him who leaked it. If an agent then that is where the problems would arise for his licence.
My guess Spurs will offer more and get him.

Don't think I've ever heard of a release clause being secret. They always seem to be out there and are often shouted about when a new contract is signed.

How can a release clause be confidential? Surely that make a release clause pointless.

It might be that the clause states something like Forest are obliged to accept any offer above the release clause. They might then get an offer above the release clause if it isn’t known. But they do tend to leak anyway.

No decent agent isn't touting their player around to bigger / better clubs & making them aware of the asking price.

Forest are absolutely kidding themselves if they think otherwise.

Half the time, personal terms are agreed way before the clubs have even made contact over an offer.

Of course the hearing didnt go into it, asit would be 'unfair on the fans'

Now where have we heard that before......

His agent and himself whilst on international duty etc or when walking off a pitch talking to opposition players.
