Was never our player & unlike some that have come on loan worked very hard for us that season & without a doubt one of the best if not the best loan signings I’ve seen in my 48 years at The Lane from me nothing but respect .
Some of the shit I heard was on the lines of as though he was was our player , missed pen then left us for them ?
Do you not think he didn’t want to get us promotion 2 seasons ago ?
He was also supposedly one of the reasons we may possibly have ended up with Doyle & McAtee last season playing with them in the England U21 set up .
No issues whatsoever from me … so when Henderson ends up there I expect the same ppl will call the same shout ?
If we’re judging players on them morals 2 of our best players Currie & Deane left us for another hated local rival in the form of Leeds back in the day and we’re our players at the time ?? ….Are they cunts ?? Some ppl need to give their head a fkg wobble or maybe be it’s the white powder brigade ?
Deano got dogs abuse when he returned to the Lane the following season with Leeds.
Shameful really. He didn't even ask to go and was basically sold by good old Reg.

Hate seeing him in a Forest shirt but will always have respect for how he performed that season. Was genuinely one of the best players I’ve seen in the red n white and had one of best attitudes I’ve seen from a player either on loan or permanent - always demanding high standards from those around him, constantly encouraging his teammates, worked his arse off and joined in the celebrations with the rest of the team. I dread to think where we’d have ended up during the first part of the season under Slav had he not come in on loan.

He appeared to be clapping the away fans at the end and a few blades clapped back then he started patting the Forest badge on his shirt then clapped again - at which point it was obvious he was clapping the top tier above us. Great player. Badge patting cunt.

I don’t see the problem with abusing players. Providing the comments aren’t beyond what is socially acceptable I think our fans should make the opposition as uncomfortable as possibly.
1. It makes us look bitter and sad as a fanbase.

2. It likely only turns them from having mixed feelings in the game to firing them up and wanting to get one over on us.

3.It makes us look disloyal to players. Imagine being one of our players knowing that even if you perform impeccably with a brilliant attitude like MGW did, we'll hate you anyway if you leave.

Imagine Ndiaye deciding whether or not to stay: "If I ever leave* they'll call me a cunt, so I either stay forever or just leave whenever it suits my career." It's certainly what his agent would've told him.

*or get injured too often, or my legs go and I don't immediately cancel my own contract etc.

I'd forgotten about the upper tier and didn't notice the badge tapping (which is nauseating whoever does it). He did get some applause (although muted) from the remaining Blades fans unlike the widespread abuse earlier on.

I was on the back row and consequently many of our fans had left when MGW came and clapped at the few remaining. Many of the remaining fans returned the complement - a complete contrast with the abuse hurled at him earlier on.
He clapped us pre match too. Who was the Forest player with him wearing the yellow top? He clapped us too

When he came to take a corner and waved to us all, I clapped him just to try to (in a tiny way) constraint the abuse he was getting.

I’d love him wearing 10 for us this season

Thought he was a joy to watch for us. Most enthusiastic player we’ve had, dragged his team mates to better performances. I’ll always want him to do well unless it’s against United, even playing for the TSC’s

Mrs MGW has good things to say about his time here & our fans...

Having a medical at Spurs ahead of £60m move according to the Athletic. Big fee but what a player he’s developed into. I didn’t think he had that ceiling TBH. Grudging respect to Forest as well, they were ridiculed for their transfer strategy a couple of years ago but they made some very astute signings.

I'm sure if I dug back through the archives I would find a long winded post in which I declared him the best I'd seen in the red & white stripes.

His ceiling is incredibly high as he has enormous talent and incredible work rate.

I even think Spurs shouldn't be his final destination (was hoping he might end up at Liverpool, Munich or even Madrid).

There are things to work on, he could look after the ball a little better at times and can be too emotional, but I think both are excused by his drive to win and forcing the issue.

They were rumours only a month or so ago Man City were after him.

Our best ever loanee. Can finally respect him now he's leaving forest. Will he a great signing for spuds and gets champions league football next year plus a world cup cap you'd assume

I think its fair to say we helped to set his career path in motion.

For some reason Wolves were being daft with him. The loan to us made sense so that he could get more game time.
He more than excelled for us that season.

Wolves then instead of realising what they had messed him around and he went to Forest. And was not shy at saying how he was not happy at his treatment at wolves. His boyhood club too.

He's just kept progressing since then.
For me it's not that surprising he is moving on to bigger things.

Would not be surprised if ndiaye stays injury free and continues his start to Everton career that next summer bigger clubs will be interested.

GLTTL, Was superb at United, he is a cracking footballer and getting better. He will do well at Spurs and it's a great move for him, champions league as well next season. Expect him to kick on again and he will be in the mix for the England squad next summer.
