MGW seems to be either sublime or ridiculous.

When he is good he is very very good, and when he is poor he is very very poor.

Unfortunately there seems to be no middle ground with him, it's just unfortunate that we are so reliant on him being good for us to be good.

I certainly wouldn't be looking to spend huge chunks of our budget on keeping him.

Although he's a great pleasure to watch at times I would rather have much more consistent performers in the team.

With maturity his decision making will be much better. As superb as he is to watch at times, there are many occasions where controlling the ball and either protecting it for a few seconds or playing a simple ball to keep possession is the most effective thing to do.
You don’t see De Bruyne doing flicks every time he gets it.
Cannot fault his work rate or passion. He has been breathtakingly good at times this season. But on the flip side, so bloody frustrating.

Yes but you don't see foden and Stirling walking about with thier hands in thier pockets staring at the grass while the game is going on..

Him and Berge were the only two who wanted to see a ball go into readings net, Norwood did OK, the rest were 3/10 of the starters...

Nothing about the subs to moan about, they both outshone mcburnie which isn't hard I know..

The last dribble with MGW where he tried to beat them all and then splilled the ball was a message to the rest of the players to fucking do something, he couldn't have made his point more clearer to me, but some groans came out from the kop..

Nobody else was even moving, so what choice did MGW have.. If we think he's the problem then this site has been infiltrated...

Him and Berge will have great careers in great teams, our team are on the fucking beach mate.

McBurnie played better than Jebbison. I know that won’t be a popular view “because academy”, but he did.

Entitled to your opinion pal, I think Jebbeson will score before mcburnie this season for us. Even though he was at Burton for the first half of the season..

(I thought OMB would score Saturday before the game, but he never showed up again)

I just think people will be disappointed if they think Jebbison is going to be the answer to our problems. (I’m not saying that you do, by the way.) He weds to be developed and, injuries notwithstanding would have been better staying at Burton. I don’t know if it’s because he’s trying too hard to make an impact in what little time he’s getting, but he just looks like a messy player and always seems to rush things, whereas McBurnie has actually showed decent link up play in his last three games and, I think, deserves to be starting. He needs a goal of any kind to get some confidence back. He’s opting to pass from positions where he, or any striker in form would be shooting 10 times out of 10. We aren’t really creating many “striker’s” chances at the moment either. We rarely drill balls in across the box, or try and thread a decent through-pass. I think McB would have scored the chance that Jebbison missed, but then wonder whether he’d have been there to miss it in the first place.

As long as one, or both of them, start scoring soon though, I’ll be happy enough!

I begrudgingly disagree,he try tricks all the fucking time and it rarely comes off,see modric against Chelsea he didn't run all over spilling a gut he hardly touched the ball but then that killer pass/cross came from nowhere if you try tricks and shit every time you have the ball 99x outta 100 it's gonna be countered because the defenders expect it.

He was doing a lot of it Saturday, I'll give you that one, but who was moving and making runs for him to put in?

There's a reason why he's got (x amount) of assists for sharp this season and there's a reason why sharp gets on the end of things, it's because they're both quality players.. Leaving MGW with no other option than to try and trick his way into the box then that's what he'll do.

If there's nobody in front of him or sprinting to the line waiting to whip it into the box what do you expect..

We went back to that fucking dumb pissing about on the edge of the box and the fucking floating cross without pace that basically finished wilder off because he wouldn't let them cross it first time..

Get to the line and whip It back accross the box at pace while the defenders are at 6s and 7s.. That's how we got promoted not passing it 6 times and floating it in while their defence reset and clear it.

We've gone backwards regarding the forward play... First time ball into the fucking box. Not rocket science .

MGW is not even in the top 10 United players I worry about. Not sure what the OP is seeing to be honest

I think we can agree that MGW is not as good as Modric. Pretty high bar though.
