Like a lot of fellow Blades I was disappointed MGW signed for Forest.

However despite being ambivalent to them in previous seasons the crap at last year's POSF really pissed me off. Actually it was their keeper's antics that got to me and that was before the aftermatch fisticuffs.

So I have been really hoping they get stuffed this season and despite the BBC's orgasmic wank fest over them (as per Leeds a couple of seasons ago ) they have now been found out and are doing their best to emulate Fulham from a few seasons ago i.e. spend megabucks on loads of players - and still lose hand over fist.

So with the magicblades doing their stuff I am hoping that come next season we will have swapped places with the tricky trees and MGW actually comes to the club where he can really shine.

Here's hoping.

Don't need him mate ;)

MGW pipe dream aside

When forest sign another dozen players in Jan there is the possibility there might be some bargains to be had on loan who though sheer weight of numbers have not got chances.

E.g. Dennis despite being 20m signing hasn’t had a sniff of a start yet…. Could be fertile ground for a side looking for promotion tbf

O’Brien
Toffolo
Dennis
Worrall

All on the bench last night for example

Don’t write of Forest yet.
I have said before that they will be bottom 6 by Christmas butsafe by the season end.
I don’t think Cooper will have signed all poor players / characters.
If they do go down why would they sell MGW ?

I personally feel that the departure of MGW, has led to the rapid emergence of Ndiaye. Don’t get me wrong our young starlet is a baller, but I genuinely think he’s looked at MGW and he thinks… I can do all of that.

I like everyone else was gutted at the departure, but feel we have more than suitable replacements.

If we go up he's worth £20 million
Forest have to pay the initial fee meaning Wolves don't lose out
And we get him for something reasonable

This, 100%.

In a similar vein, I imagine there are a few Premiership teams looking at Ndiaye and thinking he can do all of that too. We know MGW isn't worth what NF paid, but I think we need to brace ourselves for some BIG bids when the window opens.

Gone from hero to zero, florest fans already on his back. For a player it’s physiological as much as talent, heavy transfer fee bid wages, doesn’t matter who are what you are already it’s playing on his mind, he’s missing the blades love.

Why worry about bids coming in for our players in January. Live for today. We are top of the league. We are top of the league. UTB

I'm not sure mgw is premier league quality
I don't think he is yet, he deffo has to learn when to do the flicks and tricks, sometimes they didn't come off, in the premier you get punished for it but he's defo got great potential but with the fee and lack of prem experience it could affect his career, I hope he shines and gets a decent move but florist go down, that would be perfect!

I thought we'd be fine without MGW

But not this fine

Ndiaye's meteoric rise has already taken us beyond what I thought we'd be capable of without him

No need at all to dwell on MGW anymore. And it will only lead to disappointment because we will never ever be able to afford him

If and it's a still a long way away, we do go up the Trees get relegated (and hopefully Cooper sacked so a new manager is there whonhas no background with MGW) then I would hope and expect that we would enquire about the possibility of bringing him to the Lane to resurrect his career. We would be daft not to.

Yes, but its cheap.
Good. I wonder if we have an agreement with Man City that we have to give McAtee a certain amount of time? Seems strange that he's getting on ahead of Khadra (nothing against McAtee, but if Khadra is going to be out player he should really be the priority - wonder if that'll change after Xmas if we're still in the same position?)

Especially with self-made goals like today's

I can only assume that the posters who think Khadra is better, or could be better, than MGW are blind.

Ndiaye might emulate MGW in future but unlikely that Khadra will.
That's not to say Khadra is anything but a very good player - just that his range of skills is not quite as wide.

All about himself and not the team. Ndiaye made him look a better player than he actually is. Fuck Gibbs white the greedy cunt same as Henderson the money grabbing lying tosspots. Both will be relegated with Florest this season (By Christmas I hope) swapping places with us mighty Blades. And dare to believe he’s Norwegian he’s just a little reason sufc will be playing in Europe in 2 seasons
