We are not " in a hole" as you said last night. We are way beyond our wildest dreams of just 18 months ago. If it's a hole it's way up a mountain!

How you and your management team have produced the results since you arrived beggars belief. Given the number of new recruits in the squad and the list and nature of our injuries, it is remarkable that we are still in a play-off place anyway.

You personally are not used to such a losing spell these past 2 years. We personally are!

The mountain will have one or two or three levels where we pause for breath on the way up to the summit.

Be confident in the knowledge we are with you come what may. Blades together.

P.S. play Jake Wright!

Just to clarify on this......you do realise that CW is one of us, and as I read this, it seems that you may have forgotten that maybe???
If he says were in a hole, then we are until he says otherwise.
Thanks;):D

Give the bloke some fucking backing in January and sign the players he wants.

Someone said on another thread ‘would You pay £2 for a Snickers’ - if I was fucking starving, I’d pay a tenner for it!

No I've not forgotten Bed, as ever messages are to numerous audiences. This one is offered to those fans who have started to gyp at things this past couple of weeks. I've loved the man since his first spell as a player, good player he was too., if you didn't know or had forgotten! Thanks ;):D

Don't you think it odd though, that a pretty good defender has forgotten the art of being defensive?? It's alright throwing every striker on, we we leave ourselves wide open to being slaughtered.
What are your thoughts on this??

What the last few weeks have shown is that our 1st XI is more than capable in this Division but we don't have the strength and depth when 2 or 3 are missing and others have a dip in form.

What Tufty is clearly concerned about is that regardless of the absentees, the key strengths his squad have shown in the last 18 months were missing yesterday and at times in recent games. This will no doubt be addressed this week and hopefully, the JTW will add to the squad on that front.

'A hole', maybe in terms of the high standards we've had over the last 18 months but overall, no reason to panic, and others have said, we'd have taken 6th position 4 months ago at this stage.

In theory, you could be in the middle of the Cotswolds and the only shop for miles and miles sells overpriced Snickers and nothing else?

And what if the shop in question only sold wagon wheels ? Would you seriously pay a tenner for a wagon wheel even if you were starving ? Their fucking minute nowadays . It's exactly the same scenario with Brooks and the JTW .

If you had a tenner, why would you be starving?
If the only food in the world I could afford that would fill my stomach was a snickers, and that was a tenner, I’d have to buy it or I might starve to death. We’d just gone through a recession.

If you'd said Tatooine I would be sympathetic, but the Cotswolds is hardly the Gobi desert or a byword for single item stores, despite the apparent wealth of the locals.

You don't have a Lidl near you do you?

Can't think of one serious post criticising the manager.

The main problem in the JTW tends to be the availability of quality confectionery, rather than (or as much as) its price.

Given the recent raising of expectations on this board, would Ryan Leonard (e.g.) now be seen as a Snickers, or as a "twenty for a pound Christmas chocolate coin" ?

Don't we need dark chocolate?

I don't recall many being overwhelmed with most of Tufty's signings since he's been here, him and his team seem to know where to look and who will fit in so I've no reason to believe they haven't got decent people lined up. The question is whether they can find the right type that will take us to the next level.

A Kit Kat Chunky was already £2 at Bramall Lane over 10 years ago.

The real danger is paying £2 in January and ending up with a Blue Riband. Blue Ribands are shit, like chocolate covered sawdust and only liked by twats.

I'll admit, I'm going off-topic here.

£8:50 at the sty !

And you're right about Blue Riband.

Why buy Blue Ribands when you can buy Tunnocks caramels for the same price??

Beat you too it, sorry.
