The first team 16 includes Bryan, Stearman, Lundstram and Eastwood.
2 of those never made the bench in the Championship and 2 others played less than 900 minutes between them across the season, so it's clear that these 4 can only be considered squad players given the step up we have just taken. Freeman as well, lost his place in the autumn and only played afterwards based on injury.

I think we will find that we buy more than 6 or 7 before the season starts.

Why does it matter if the kit is released today or next week or the week after?

Anyone recon Ravel Morrison might be trying to alert other clubs he’s available?

Ooh cynical B56! You've got a point though. That there Morrison bloke could be just using us as a stalking horse to get his name banded about other clubs. Tell you what though mate, he's picked a bloody poor stalking horse if that is the case - there are far bigger and better stalking horses than our little seaside donkey. Here's another idea...

Entertain, for one moment, (if you will), that we have already signed more than one player. The deals are done - the ink is dried. But...we are delaying announcing them until the other "business" at the club is concluded. i.e. the Courtroom business. There's no good reason why we would need to delay announcing the deals, none that is likely to impact the Court decision in any case, but maybe it's a preference of our manager and Mr McCabe, to just remain silent for now until this whole shebang is over and then the club can come out to us and say...
