... the parallel 1973Blade returns home from work, reflecting on a nervous weekend ahead with the Blades facing John Terry's Derby County in the playoffs (another glitch in this parallel world). If only we hadn't been bottlejobs and had gone up automatically. Even the Friday evening bottle of red wine tastes unusually bitter this evening...

(In this world) I'm wishing this was the final, only fixture I would be truly comfortable with.

Just thought, the play offs could pit Lampard v Terry which could be interesting. 32Red have done pretty well in the play offs too.

I’m up in North Yorks, in Leeds territory, and I am going to the local with 5 big screens to quietly sit and watch a pubful of them going bonkers against FLDC. They are even more negative than the most pessimistic Blade. Going to be the highlight of my day - I sat in another pub with a Blades shirt on last night - got out alive - just! Don’t think I’ll wear it for the game though!

Not the Alex? Might take in the early game there. And there WILL be Blades stuff worn :)

Prefer the reality of us being there already.
Doesn't the prem look good now with 4 prem teams in 2 European finals and it's overall quality enhanced with us being there

But of those 4 teams a combined total of only 9 British players.

Imagine having to pay multi mega bucks to travel to God-knows-where to watch another bleedin' Arsenal/Chelsea Prem-Game-By-Any-Other-Name-Game?
Christ! - How on earth I'm going to get around to showing any enthusiasm for watching Prem games is beyond me; I may need the best part of this Summer to get myself psyched up for it.
