If the Prince had his way McCabe would still own all SUFC related property, not just the bits he does now. The court judgement partly found in McCabe's favour - the property HAD to be bought which it has been, presumably with the club's generated cash from the PL. We'd be renting from McCabe if that hadn't happened and the Prince got his way. McCabe got the money for the property due to the court judgement forcing it, and the money for the 50% shares he had left in the non property side which the Prince also bought . The first 50% of these shares he swapped for investment in the club when we were in L1. The money that went in his account at the end of this amounts to a sizeable loss given his overall input inthe club imo.
The original deal with the Prince seems to have been written so badly that it lost McCabe the club on a technicality whilst allowing him to keep some of the property on a technicality. What troubles me going forward is whether McCabe will ever relinquish the Kop lands whilst the Prince has anything to do with the club going forward, even part ownership, which he has now stated he wants on SUW. I hope for a full buyout to hopefully remove this issue. McCabe obviously hasn't developed this part of the ground which makes me feel that he is waiting for the Prince's exit to sell to a new owner.
