McNulty

From the BBC coverage of the new years eve game, where Bradford drew with Bury

",,,The home side continued to dominate but could not turn pressure into goals and substitute Mark McNulty twice missed good chances after Hanson headed the ball into his path,,,,"

Lazy, slow, plus the extra-curricular nonsense and entourage. He is everything that was wrong about recent regimes, and thank goodness we are now dealing in players a class above him.

He is very welcome, for us, to feck right back off to obscurity in Scottish Div 1.

Judging from the Wilder interview I heard whilst coming back, he's here as cover in case of injuries as we got caught earlier in the season when only Billy was fit to play and we couldn't loan anyone, which is fair enough, though makes you think that a striker isn't his priority in the transfer market.

I still believe McNulty can score goals and did look like a natural striker when he first came. His off field activities, attitude, inappropriate tweets etc. has cost him a lot of support but I really hope he will help with promotion, as we all do and as he is here until the end of the season I hope he does get support whilst he is on the field.

Done came on at the end due to his work rate as we were easily winning with a few minutes left, McNulty was never going to come on in that situation and he is probably 5th choice at present, which he probably knows, but if Wilder can turn his career around then great, if not, and it does need a big turnaround, then he's off to the same clubs most of last year's disgraces have wound up at and on similar wages but I have faith that Wilder won't tolerate any messing around and just might be the best thing for the kid. This could be his last chance of becoming the player his entourage seem to think he already is.

yeah does look like chris aint gonna sign another striker i was hoping we might splash out for matty taylor but i trust in chris to make the right decision personally dont think mcnulty has a future with us but might still come in handy if we get injuries in run in

In my simplistic, idealistic world... I hope he comes back to a team he barely recognises. A team of fitter, more professional, passionate players that are giving 100% in training and more if they could in matches. He'll see a team that is winning and has the support of a huge fan base.

And maybe he'll say to himself, "I want a piece of this" and step up.

I don't think Wilder, having heard his post match interview has any plans on selling him. I am a little bit cautious of having him back around the club as we are doing so well.

I do however trust Wilders jusdgement

I thought Wilders interview made a lot of sense. We need 5 forwards at the club. He's a finisher, which might be useful. Wilder as good as admitted he made a mistake sending him to Bradford.

Welcome back Sparky ;-)

He defo got an attitude time to move on

I thought he implied as Clarke is injured we needed mcnulty. I still think he could swap/sell him and get another striker in this window. Wants min 4 available to play. Said he'd be involved .. would be on bench unless replacement brought in imo.

Well that's not actually the case SP, is it.

It actually turns out, I don't know if you heard, that it was the failings of the legal profession that robbed us of the services of Ched Evans in the latter stages of the season and play off final. You can no more blame him for our failings, than you can call him a rapist.

Granted, he cheated on Natasha, but I doubt Danny Wilson would have left him out because of that. :(
i'm not doubting his innocence for one second.. i've had dealings with the cps myself and said all along the decision was dodgy.. however, and i take no pleasure in saying this, the legal profession didn't take his dick out of his pants.. as a highly paid professional sportsman you should be more 'ahem' professional imho.. seems quite a few agree with my opinion
the fact that we are discussing this shows that ched has unfortunately become a devisive figure among the fans.. it would be incredibly stupid to introduce this to the team dynamic at this stage.. imho

McNulty won't cut the mustard for a team chasing promotion, he's had several chances and never really hit form.

Compared to Lavery I think he's a poor player. Poor hold up play, passing, work rate. Even McNults finishing was frustrating.

How many times did we see the lad get himself in great positions to only fluff the shot at the last

I did a search for 'McNulty Footballer' on google. Apparently this fat f*cker plays for Tranmere Rovers!!

The guys an odious runt, is everything thats wrong in a modern footballer. Only slightly above the pigs in my level of disdain, get rid of the useless fucker ASAP before he derails our season

Oh come on mate, don't be shy...tell us how you really feel!

Yeah, it's difficult I suppose and everyone will have their own view.
Personally I think he only did what many of his peers were doing, possibly teammates even. Their actions remain unknown but he was unfortunate to be accused of rape and then poorly represented by his legal team. Since his acquittal I feel pity for him not resentment.
But it's a subject that's been done to death so let's leave it there and let Chris Wilder decide ;)

What a joke... He gets played to play professional football and can't sort his diet out???
Bert saw him play a couple of weeks ago at Lincoln City. He didn't have a bad game.

i feel pity for him too don't get me wrong but we aren't a charity .. genuine question.. has ched ever apologised to the fans?

Apologised for being the subject of a major legal fuck up?
Genuine question, if you'd been falsely accused of rape, imprisoned and subsequently acquitted having served a significant jail sentence. Would you honestly feel obliged to offer anyone an apology?
You seem to forget he is the victim and has suffered far far greater hardship than Sheffield United or any of their supporters as a consequence of legal incompetence.
A bit of perspective required here I think SP!
