But when PW was asking him to elaborate more he got agitated and aggressive which i wasn't pleased about.

It is drama for something though, or top goalscorer could be on his way....

I don't think he was aggressive as such, but increasingly frustrated as Walker just repeated himself. It was like a poor man's version of Paxo v Howard.

I think his point was, he's not been sold, so until he has its all speculation and drama for nothing.

Come off it Foxy.....................

McCabe came across so bent you wud think he couldn't lie straight in bed !

Wouldn't be so bad, but my opinion is he's led supporters up the garden path to often ! he's running out of places to hide.

He said, as of 2.10pm Saturday afternoon that James Beattie was a Sheffield United player. He was, what's bent about that? Paul Walker tried to lead him on prices/bids etc which is when he got arsey about speculation. What would you have liked him to say in the situation?

How has he led supporters up the garden path? He's never hidden, he prompted coming on Radio Sheffield before the match when he could have easily not bothered.

You'd say it was afternoon if McCabe said good morning to you wouldn't you?

We know you don't like him but you always say the same things, try to elabrated on why he has led us up the garden path or why the club is cheap as chips and people might take interest in your 'provocative' posts.

or you ould contact McCabe and tell him you humble opinion and see o he reacts to yo, you might be proved right or you might be pleasently surprised because i'm sure he'd talk to you if you did contact him.

Foxy you know as well as i do McCabe was aware of the BT uproar hence the Radio interview. (shot himsen in the foot though)

Sometimes its not what you say ............its what you don't say !

McCabe let his sen down yesterday.......better not to have given the interview at all.

How?

BT is still a United player. He hasn't been sold. Stoke have made an offer which was unacceptable. What else could he say, and more to the point, should he have said?

I think he might actually have done that to prove a bit of a point, after all, the interview was arranged and advertised on Friday's 'Football Heaven'. The point being that no deal has been done.

Is that no comment from you, or is that what you wanted him to say?

I'm sure if he'd said "no comment" you'd have been full of praise for him? ;)

No comment from McCabe........... he touted Radio Sheffield and made himsen look a reight prick !

I've just flown in last night :D:cry: aye from which planet.......as i've said elsewhere McCabe ought to buy hisen a Blackberry and one for 'our terry' anall they cud Blackberry each other !

Mind yer its not as if BT is a major player in the squad so i may be being a bit hard on McCabe !

No comment from McCabe........... he touted Radio Sheffield and made himsen look a reight prick !

He said he was still a Sheffield United player and refused to comment further? Surely this efficiently cleared up the rumours about him having been sold before sticking a no comment angle on it?

cash in on beatie, webber and hendo asap!! send spring stokes, howard and dyer back to their clubs and get some QUALITY IN!! & Cheap as chips out !

Here is one yer can try to answer about McCabe.

Why is he charging SUFC 300% more in interest charges than a high street bank ?

Typical Beighton, leading us up the garden path! Not answering questions!

He's another few...

How many high street banks have pumped money into the blades through rights issues? and how many high street banks would be forcing us to pay back the cash and showing far less flexibility than Mr McCabe? How many high street banks would have allowed us to borrow at the advertised rates?

Foxy.......... where do you think McCabe gets his money from ? and what do you think about the interest rate he is charging SUFC ?

I certainly don't think he makes his money from Sheffield United.

I don't know the details of the interest rate that one of his companies is charging Sheffield United, or what payment terms they have.

Given that the loans are unsecured by nature, how do you propose we should have done it? carried on owing the banks that we did? being restricted in terms of what we could do and being held at the mercy of the banks like the pigs?

I'm willing to answer questions, you appear to have a McCabe like trait of ignoring them though ;)

What's all this got to do with him lying to us though? How does this make him bent?

Foxy

Has the heritable property at BDTBL got any securities on it ?
If so to whom ?

Ok here ya go:

Sheffield United (AIM: SUT) the football, leisure and property company annouces today that it has raised #10 million in financing by way of a unsecured loan from SDG Caledonia Holdings Limited ("SDG Caledonia"). It is intended that the funds will be used to fund player purchases and salaries, to support certain potential capital projects both at Bramall Lane and at the club's other sites in Sheffield and to provide the Company with additional working capital.

The loan, which bears interest at Bank of Scotland base rate plus 4%, is repayable by 31 August 2008 and includes an obligation for SDG Caledonia to underwrite up to the value of #10 million, any equity fundraising that the company makes during the period of the loan.

The loan will be advanced by SDG Caledonia Holdings Limited, a company controlled indirectly by Kevin McCabe and related family trusts, accordingly the transaction constitutes a related party transaction. The Directors of Sheffield United, excluding the related party Kevin McCabe, consider, having consulted with the Company's Nominated Advisor, KBC Peel Hunt, that the terms of the loan are fair and reasonable in so far as the Company's shareholders are concerned.

Commenting on the loan, Jason Rockett Chief Executive said:

"This investment is part of our long term business strategy which includes reducing bank debt. It is a strategic move in the wake of the inevitable reduction in income associated with relegation from the Premier League.

"This loan enables us to continue our robust business strategy - focused on staying competitive on-the-field and on growth off-the-field by maximising our business activities and opportunities."
