McCabe wants to sell Blades

Unpopular. Also unsupported by fact, unsupported by even rumour, conjecture, financial information or previous avowed intent. Man wants a quick buck. Wasn't as quick as he expected following the Adkins/Clough debacle. Decided Van Winkle was the way but fortunately Wilder got there first. Prince hasn't got the cash. What is it about people who see Saudi and Prince and think they are all billionaires?

Will only make a ‘quick buck’ if he sells us on (as has always been the case), which is the same thing McCabe apparently wants to do.

Someone called Terry Robinson heading up a consortium apparently

Probably a load of shite and I thought so at the time but the other day a mate told me about a mate, of a mate... of a mate etc (I know ) who is apparently a director at United talking about McCabe selling to a Chinese billionaire. I know it's been mentioned before and likely got a sprinkle of fairy dust on it, but seen as he's said it just before this has come out there MIGHT (likely not) be something in it.

KMC does seem very confident doesn't he?
Would any loser in the forthcoming case be able launch an appeal? And surely that would not be heard for at least another 6 months?

I’m concerned tbh about the idea of McCabe winning the case and immediately selling sole ownership to an “international owner” we know absolutely nothing about. PA hasn’t been particularly visible/vocal this since, but McCabe hasn’t either in fairness. And while I think there are genuine concerns about PA, I think these are overall less than getting someone in that is unfamiliar with the club, hasn’t crucially experienced this club pre-Wilder (so if times get tough next season will be less aware of how good a job Wilder’s done taking us so rapidly from that situation in League 1), and will be more likely to want to reshape the structure at the club. People were horrified by the idea of bringing a DoF in, but realistically the role exists in some form at most PL clubs, and it’s likely a new owner would want something similar.

If we have two co-owners, one of whom is now on record as desperate to get out, one of whom hasn’t shown any indication they’re desperate to get out, why is everyone wanting the former to win this case and immediately sell on to someone we’ve no idea about?
Hope the prince does’nt win....
Just before I clicked on here I was reading that that backward shithole called Saudi Arabia beheaded 35 Shiite Muslims in one day(one crucifixion) and chucked in some torture for a laugh.Their crimes ranged from being gay and getting found out to posting anti government messages on social media, some were as young as 17 when they were arrested.I don’t want members of the Saudi establishment running my club or anywhere near it.

Because KM is dedicated to our football club and he will have a very good idea about them,

I thought he looked relaxed and confident, far from desperate.

Promotion to the Premiership has changed the landscape in every way and I don’t doubt to Kev’s and our very considerable advantage, provided we are professional and responsible on and off the Desso, as I would fully expect under this Management team and having learned the lessons of our last visit to the top flight.

Got worried

Read this

McCabe said the board would provide funds for Wilder to build a team to survive and prosper in the Premier League and guaranteed there will be new players coming in before their Premier League debut.

Not worried anymore.

I think there are only 4 premier league teams who make a profit, so basically the only way to make a profit is to sell the club, exit stage left Kev and stage right Prince.

Neither have the wealth to gamble us going down again. This is the optimum time to get out
