What an absolute sod!
Going out when we're in the best position we've been in for years with a good team and staff and a great feeling of a club united!
Then giving a sensible interview with hopes for a stable future and wanting to be 'just a fan' next season.
Who does he think he is !!!!:mad::mad:

:)

He’s even committed to new additions in the summer transfer window. The bastard.:mad::mad:

It's never ever a dull time to be a Blade is it? Airing on the side of caution but I'm optimistic about this, I think McCabe will/has found someone who he belives will take the club forward now we've reached the promised land. This could give us a brilliant platform to really establish ourselves on!

I think it says a lot about the man that he decided to go to the press first than release any official statement direct to the supporter through a statement. McCabe out.

I have no idea but I would hazard a guess that he is far richer than McCabe.

The Wiki is ridiculous because his wealth is not based on oil. However 155 mil$ is about right.

The Yorkshire Post is also close even though some years ago.

Really Barney, if he had that much brass, why do you think he didn't just buy McCabe out at the start? His first love is the Pats. If he had that much brass he would have bought them. Jeez!

Apparently it's a bloke calls Waul Pool-House.

He could have quite easily cut his losses at an earlier date, but he's seen it through to the Premier League.

To me that says he is serious about the club, surely?

Right on cue, Barney. I’ve booked myself in a private ward at the Sheffield Side-Splitting Hospital, provides they’ve received the facsimile document transmission.
I posted that one for you Pinchy, I knew you'd like it.

I’m concerned tbh about the idea of McCabe winning the case and immediately selling sole ownership to an “international owner” we know absolutely nothing about. PA hasn’t been particularly visible/vocal this since, but McCabe hasn’t either in fairness. And while I think there are genuine concerns about PA, I think these are overall less than getting someone in that is unfamiliar with the club, hasn’t crucially experienced this club pre-Wilder (so if times get tough next season will be less aware of how good a job Wilder’s done taking us so rapidly from that situation in League 1), and will be more likely to want to reshape the structure at the club. People were horrified by the idea of bringing a DoF in, but realistically the role exists in some form at most PL clubs, and it’s likely a new owner would want something similar.

If we have two co-owners, one of whom is now on record as desperate to get out, one of whom hasn’t shown any indication they’re desperate to get out, why is everyone wanting the former to win this case and immediately sell on to someone we’ve no idea about?

I've only been able to watch the brief 1.19 min video but I assume there is more and was wondering from those that have listened to it, was McCabe asked about the court case, because as others have said, from the brief interview it appears that McCabe is very confident of winning the case because he talks about selling the club and he couldn't do that unless it was agreed with the Prince, unless the Prince is the new foreign owner McCabe is selling to?!

So are Prince and talking McCabe talking. Seems to me Prince will buy and will get Saudi backing

Sounds very much like there are new owners waiting in the wings, ready for the takeover, should McCabe win in court??

Apparently not

According to articles on line they reckon he has similar wealth to KM, having sold his Paper Mill business. He has been reported to have said that the wealth he has has been self made. No silver spoon. No billionaire inheritance. Supposedly all hard earned wealth
