See, I've thought of such ultimatums, and though they'll do little good anyway, I can't help but think that to say someone should lose his job so that I'll get better entertainment is in somewhat bad taste.

That's not to say I don't want him to go, nor that I wouldn't be doing naked cartwheels if he resigned tomorrow.

I completely understand your feelings. I shall be renewing one of my two season tickets. At the same moment I shall write to K-Mac explaining that my renewal is anything but a vote of confidence and why the rest of my family have absconded. I shall refer to players generically rather than individually but the manager will feature personally!
