"I don't know how that McBurnie gets a shirt. He's wank" - father in law.

Got to agreeSuperb again today, we'll miss him while he's banned
I see now I made a meal of that (posting from the pc)...
Don’t think you can appeal a double yellow anyway. But only 1 match ban as a silver lining.Would it be worth appealing? Doubt it.
Definitely first in to defend his team mates, a positive for the spirit shown, way too likely to lose it . Takes no shit from any quarter.Agree with most about other team and referees, but one thing is McBurnie is known for losing it and players can soon wind him up, maybe his reputation doesn't help him
With rules as they are this is a massive negative- demonstrating/ waving your arms/ coming the hard man- totally pointless - he's just hit some form - we need his height in both boxes - but because he's got the brains of a flatfish he won't be playing against The Geordies. Brain dead.Definitely first in to defend his team mates, a positive for the spirit shown, way too likely to lose it . Takes no shit from any quarter.
He was outstanding yesterday they couldn’t live with him. It’s not the fact he was sent off it’s the consistency, Maddison amongst others can try andOther than when kicking items on the touchline in a rage. I agree about the risks with McBurnie, he's far from the only one likely to rack up needless bookings. Ahmedhodzic is terribly immature too. With rules as they are this is a massive negative- demonstrating/ waving your arms/ coming the hard man- totally pointless - he's just hit some form - we need his height in both boxes - but because he's got the brains of a flatfish he won't be playing against The Geordies. The only way you stick it up the opponent - is scoring a goal - not behaving like a spoilt kid.
Take a leaf out of Hecky's book- the bloke personifies acting totally professional under extreme pressure.

Don’t suppose anything will change soon but nice to see fans from other clubs clearly pissed off with the system too.

Can’t appeal double yellows. I went to a sportsman’s lunch with a former PL ref a few years ago and he was asked whether he had ever given somebody a red card because they were annoying. His answer was “no - you give them 2 yellows because they can’t appeal that”.Would it be worth appealing? Doubt it.
Don’t claim for a clear shirt pull, in fact don’t claim for anything, just play the game silently?Stupid tw@t, just keep your mouth shut, refs never gonna change his decision. After missing games through injury he's now got a needless ban.
He's urgently our most irreplaceable player, I look forward to seeing Archer and Traore up front v the Geordies
It's just a natural reaction. Even a saint would probably say "but he was pulling my shirt" to be honest.Stupid tw@t, just keep your mouth shut, refs never gonna change his decision. After missing games through injury he's now got a needless ban.

Exactly this.If McB's used foul or abusive language then fair enough (even though we see this all the time), but if he's just pointed out that his shirt was pulled then it's absolute bullsh*t. You'd be carding practically every player in every game for dissent. If it's technically correct and in the rules, then card everyone who does it! Again it's the consistency that's frustrating and baffling. Furthermore use some common sense given the context of the situation - we've just conceded two injury time goals so the players' emotions are running high and on top of that, it's a 2nd yellow leading to a red card and suspension. Atrocious officiating.
