I have knocked Oli in the past maybe justified ? But today when he came on he looked class , this might be his season to shine in the big league , Osula tried got to give him that but is to weak at the moment , he need weights and time , Oli carries on like that and we start to get points !

McBurnie did well today, maybe the fact that he had more support when we were chasing the equaliser, even Anel was up there, helped him

mcburnie is not a target man hes better just playing off the main striker hope he proves me wrong about him has to be him and archer against everton osula and traore both not ready yet

I'm sure it's been said, but the difference for me was that after McBurnie came on we managed to retain possession at times.

It was painful prior to that to see the ball not "sticking", hence wave after wave of City attack.

I think up front we're not in such a bad position Archer, McBurnie, Brewster (if and when fit and confidence returns), Jebbison, Traore, and Osula.....for a supposedly doomed side it could be worse.

This is the view from Ulriken, the highest mountain in Bergen. I was there on Friday, and on my way down I saw a bloke in a United shirt with McBurnie on the back. I was quite excited at this unusual sight, so asked him (in English) if he was a Blade, guessing he was a tourist, maybe even one of you lot on here. But it turned out he was Norwegian, not a Blade, actually supported Chelsea, but was a huge McBurnie fan!

Enjoyed that same view back in 2006. A truly beautiful part of the world.

8 Premier League goals in approx 127 Prem League appearances between them. It could only really be worse if we were actively trying to get relegated. We definitely need 1 more signing up front with some decent pedigree.

I cant help but love him. 4 MORE YEARS PLEASE. If we stay up then he is an great squad option, if we go down then him and Benie rip up the league. ⚔️

I myself am from Sheffield but now live in Stockholm. Many years ago whilst on a trip visiting my then girlfriends mother in Västerås I went to a pub in the city centre to watch the mighty blades who were playing Derby I think in an early kick off around 12-13, anyway I go in the pub and see a bloke with a blades shirt on amongst many other lads in Chelsea, Arsenal tops.
I approached the group assuming the lad in the United shirt was from Sheffield….no he was born a bred in Västerås!! His dad became a fan of The blades in the 70’s through a betting game called stryktipset…his dad obviously did a good job at bringing the lad up right!!

All the other lads with him were plastic fans i said and this lad was a proper football fan… I bought him a drink and went to sit on my own to watch us loose 2-1…shouted out UTB when I left 😂⚔️

Don't necessarily disagree, but if we want to go out and buy a player with a "guaranteed" 15+ PL goals, then we'd likely need the thick end of 50M plus.

A lot of our strikers are young lads who could score plenty, but I do take your point we're relying on potential and not the finished article.

Don't have an answer as to who would fit the bill but surprised we haven't tried to get an experienced head up top to complement the youth (don't say B Sharp!).

He was outstanding today. I’ve slagged him off in the past, namely in our last PL season and thought he should have gone. But he’s really turned it around and was top class today. Matured massively too and such a likeable character after some questionable stuff a few years ago.
