He had another fine game tonight, some fans will criticise him no matter what, for some reason

I think the reason is repeated failure to get headers on target or to strike the ball cleanly and/or with power. He had another fine game tonight, some fans will criticise him no matter what, for some reason
I don't understand this take at all.100% this. McBurnie was superb at both ends of the pitch tonight, the only thing missing was a goal. First name on the teamsheet v Swansea.
I don't understand this take at all.
The very same player missed a one v one in the first half. He was gifted the chance, had time and rather than stroking the ball in the corner, he hit it at a nice height directly at the keeper.
Bit OTT. It was a misjudgment by the centre half. Regarding the shot, it should have been on the floor then his face wouldn't have come into it. To read your summary you'd think he just made base metal from purest green...Incredibly unfair and nothing like Ndaiye's 1v1....McBurnie won a ball he had no right to, made a chance out of nothing, got a shot on target and the keeper saved it with his face...
68 minutesDid not know he was playing unless he came on late
None came from play when he starts with him facing his own goal. Many of those goals are the type of chances Billy Sharp thrives on. Despite Billy’s goals, we don’t , based on the play down the wings, provide that many chances for him.
Perhaps they’re running out of (other) scapegoats ?He had another fine game tonight, some fans will criticise him no matter what, for some reason
Oh fucks sake the Swansea video is rolled out againExtraordinary- I wonder, has he got an identical twin?![]()

Lol...agenda in its purest form. If anyone else had made that chance McBurnie haters would be spaffing like they were watching Porn Hub..

We could give him to Matlock Town or someone like that.I just get the overall impression with McBurnie that he doesn’t want to be here. When I watched him play for Swansea he looked a very good player. Sometimes it just doesn’t click at a club and I think it’s like this with him. I think it would be better all round if we parted company this summer.

I don't see how this gives you any additional confidence that he would score N'Diaye's chance especially when you witness his striking of the ba from outside the box.
I don't get why McBurnie and McGoldrick can't strike a football cleanly and with power.
They skuff it more than not. No wonder he's missed both shoot out kicks he's taken for us.
I don't have an agenda and I'm not interested in his private life unless it is bringing bad press to United. But for 17m I'm just amazed he can't do such basics like shooting and simple ball control. When the ball is passed to him with any pace he looks about as comfortable as Prince Andrew at a BBC interview.

Golden opportunities ..........................McBurnie plays we draw two blanks because he missed golden opportunities. Please don’t start him on Saturday
Besides N'Diaye's chance required him to break at pace. He'd have still been on the half way line.
Wasn’t he leading the counter after heading the ball clear?Bit OTT. It was a misjudgment by the centre half. Regarding the shot, it should have been on the floor then his face wouldn't have come into it. To read your summary you'd think he just made base metal from purest green...

I wish he was better I really do. It's just hard to believe after 2 years of playing at a higher level this is the striker who scored 20+ for Swansea. I just don't see it.
Another unfair comment he was up with Ndiaye on that break the ball was played to the right when he was on the left.Bit OTT. It was a misjudgment by the centre half. I’ve been going for 60yrs home and away. I’ve seen good and bad and I’m telling you McBurnie isn’t the answer. You must have had a few years not watching us.
Dear meGolden opportunities ..........................only in your warped mind.
Maybe he'd fallen over again by the time we got near the goal.Wasn’t he leading the counter after heading the ball clear?![]()
