Tinhat time
I actually think if McBurnie plays 46 games next season he will bag 20+ goals. Just because he can't step up to the premier league doesn't mean he cant in the Championship (Where he's proven)
Billy 'bagsman' Sharp had spent 15 years in the lower leagues, but at his best anyone would have him in the Championship.
In the last 50 seasons we have played 26 seasons in the second tier.
The following people have had 20+ goal seasons in the second tier in that time.
20 goals plus in a Championship season is really hard to do, and you have to be a really good player to do it, as you can see from the above list.
A number of people have said they expect McBurnie or Brewster, or both (!) to get 20 goals next season. I think they are underestimating how hard that is to do, even for good players in a good team.
I think it is more likely that McBurnie will score less than 10 than he will score more than 20.
