Wilder has to take the blame here, he has spent nearly 30 million on two championship players who are clearly of championship, not premiership, quality. We really need to expand our scouting network we will not get value for money in the UK.
Clearly? After fewer than 10 games? Get a grip.

He’s a blade he must learn to hate the dingles or leave

Why would he hate them? I'm an actual Blade not a contracted player and I don't hate them, they're not worth hating. Complete irrelevance, same as Rotherham and Doncaster.

Let Wednesday have the rivalries with their fellow minnows 😉

Just to play devil's advocate; it is my understanding that they were both bought to be effective goalscorers from day 1, we are figuratively speaking approaching day 9. They have 2 goals between them in a combined 949 minutes of premier league football, that's an average of 1 goal every 5 1/2 matches for the pair. If I were being overly critical, I'd include the additional 136 minutes of goalless League Cup football in their tallies. From the start of the season we needed them to be averaging between 1 in 5 and 1 in 4 each, now approaching 10 games into the season, that need is now at near enough 1 in 3. It is not an unfair or unreasonable suggestion to say that both are currently coming up short of our requirements.

Mr Wilders instruction was to get behind the team and back them.

Just saying.

Bang on. Earns his money, if he wants to show off and spend it he’s more than entitled to do so. Ollie Norwood put a post on of his new chrome R8 the other week didn’t see anyone moaning about that?

They would if he'd had it in rust instead of chrome.

Did he not play for Barnsley???
Maguire comes to SUFC matches when he can.
Not defending him on the drink driving though.

On another note. I wonder what would happen if the TV money came to an abrupt end? And would the players see a reduction in wages?
Me personally I would like to see wages based on what division you are in.
Eg (maximum wage) Premier 50k per week, Championship 20k, League 1 10k and League 2 5k.

He's our striker he's our number nine
Picking litter for a very long time
20 million and he came from Swansea
And he's sweeping up leaves for Old Biddies

I wasn't thinking that actually but it is a version of what may be going wrong.

Personally I do see McBurnie out wide a lot in early attacks but I think he gets in position for crosses - usually outnumbered substantially by the time the ball is played across, generally hopeful crosses rather than pinpointed. Robinson is around but rarely do we get anybody else whatsoever up there in the box to distract defenders, with nobody around to pick up the second ball. Quality of crosses and no quick early ones like you say Scooter_mcgavin. Similarly Sharp always gets in there but rarely wins a header, not that it's one of his main attributes as much as it is with McBurnie; picking up second balls is Sharp's strength though.

As for corners, I've no idea. Fleck and Norwood deliver good corners but it never works. Referees don't protect strikers but that's the same for everybody. Find ways to play in a delayed cross maybe, by which time defenders will have stopped wrestling our players.

One point that's dawned on me is the low number of headed goals in the P.L. - 27 out of 231. That's a low number by any measure and particularly when you think that when United are attacking the wide move with the cross into the box is the main ploy.

We varied the corners last night and the first time we utilused pur 'stock' far post corner Arsenal weren't ready for it.

Much better.

I've got full confidence in McBurnie that he will prove to be a good signing. Not all signings come off straight away either, i.e. Lunstram, Coutts.

I thought the support for McBurnie from the Kop yesterday was superb and I would guess he would have been touched by that.

He's made mistake, hopefully this could be a blessing as a wake up call.
