This would be extremely disappointing. And unlikely - hasn't he just had a kid? And is he really suited to such a warm climate?

Agree with you.

I'd be really disappointed not to see him back. Amongst the best in the division and a fan's favourite. Weirdly seems to be less loved on this forum than in the stands.

He seems a top lad, great for the dressing room and has a lot of talent.
Weird timing to move abroad now, would have given it a couple more years if I were him as would want to be around family / home post birth. But each to their own & good luck to the lad if he does go.

Fair skinned red headed Scotsman, what could go wrong?

BTW where did the clip of him playing the record come from last night? Thought that was a clear indicator he was staying, but then again I’m gullible and will believe owt.
They put that clip out when we got McAtee back last season

Weird but also predictable that he's more popular in the stands....

No McBurnie could make all the difference for us this season. We need 2 good CFs, not just Moore. McBurnie if fit and in a creative team would have smashed it this season

He'll need replacing but we won't get better and it'll be hard to even get similar. The Austria striker Gregoritsch is my best suggestion

Main thing we need to do now though is throw everything at getting BBD..... although his partnership with McB was one of the big attractions

Good luck to him, always liked him,had an edge to his playing style, went a bit far sometimes and never any support from the referees. I’ve sent him a box of SPF50 as a leaving present,he has a complexion of milk bottle white so 25 minutes on the pitch will be enough before he turns into the typical British holiday maker, aka boiled lobster.

Its a shame if he isn't signing on with us again as I liked him as a player and thoughthe would do well next season, but if he doesn't and moves on then that's understandable (especially if it's for a club based where there is plenty of sunshine a nice lifestyle).

I'm sad to hear hrs leaving. I think overall he's done well but injuries have definitely been a problem. Wish him all the best in Spain, didn't see that move happening.

I think once Kieffer Moore signed the writing was on the wall that he was more likely to leave than stay.

Probably found out what Moore was being paid.

By the way, as the forums new Witcher when are you going to carry out your DM threat to publicly out me for contributing to Rocket Man DM group?
What do you contribute to it? Does he charge the same as jimmy ramble?

Absolutely nothing. Totally against it. Just jono_t2000 decided to DM me to threaten to “call me out in public” but decided to “give me the chance” to “explain myself in private” to him.

You can imagine my DM reponse 🤣

You've given into the darkside and joined his DM service haven't you 🙈
I have DMed @Rocket Man on a couple of subjects but I have never and would never solicit information he chooses not to put on the open forum FOC at the point of need. He has never given me any bespoke information during our private conversations and he knows my feelings that I 100% object for splitting information through a free and / or paid patron.

According to sun he has turned down the chance to triple his money to move to Spain
Does it indicate where he will be going? Thought he'd be a shoe in for Rangers.

Edit: just seen the article and I got the wrong end of the stick. He is moving to La Palmas as opposed to tripling his money with a move to Turkey or Saudi.

Who knows if the opportunity will be there in two years?
He could get a career ender tackle in his next match.

As rubbish as it is for us. And I think it is.

You can't blame him for taking the opportunity whilst it's there.

I wouldn't imagine it will be for the £. I assume the Spanish wage offer would be less than ours.

Are you sure? I thought the triple his money move was believed to be to Saudi and he is going to Spain instead, which sounds much more likely.

Edit: Just seen BrisBlade post, which says the same.

maybe mcburnies salary will enable us to bring a premier league striker in on loan ?

GLTTL, Not top level, even for Rangers to go for him, seems a decent lad, but championship is his level and we need someone for the future, get a new striker in and put OMs wages towards them

It was never gonna happen.

Las Palmas though?!? o_O
To be fair to McBurnie it’s a good move for him in a sense of warm weather etc. On paper being a Scotland international in the past (and them qualifying for the Euros) and him playing Premier League football it was a smart piece of business on a free for Las Palmas if not a bit of a random club. If he stays fit it will be interesting to see how he adapts

Good luck to him, have to say I am a bit miffed over him pieing us off after his injury run with us. But he can do whatever he feels is best for him, but I won't be rewriting history about his time with us as many seem to be doing.

Aye
Or
He may be a “bit miffed” that it was SUFC that did the ‘pie-ing’ ?!?
