Max Lowe

We've got three poor LWBs on our books, we need to get rid of at least two of them and get someone decent in.
I’m not sure who your three are but I’d be tempted to give Enda a fresh chance somewhere else. He’s been good for us, but not good for a long time now.

Enda - past it, RND and Lowe not good enough

He's one of the most obvious players to sell in the summer.

Will attract cash ✅
Already has a suitor ✅
Can't miss what you never really had ✅
Players in his position already ✅

Norrington-Davies is 2 years his junior and in his first full season with us so you could argue that he's got more potential. He's the current incumbent and these games will only aid his development.

Enda is in the final year of his contract next season so I can't see someone offering decent cash AND taking his reasonable wages. I know some will say keep the two younger ones but there has to be interest and I think this is the far more likely. Wonder how much he originally cost? Was never clear what the split was with him and Bogle or whether we called it 50/50 to deny Swindon some sell on in Derby's favour?

In principle we are well covered here. As well as Osborn who doesn't let you down, we have young Boyes who seems to be well thought of at Solihull Moors and you'd expect his next loan to be League One or Two. He'd be an ideal loan for Beerschot where they actually have a vacancy, unlike the Seriki one.

We can’t take offence to that seeing as he’s never played in front of ours, has he? 🤣
I tried to put a comment on to state that as the article, which was from a Forest perspective, clearly loved how it made Derby and us look crapper than Forest! Also our away support matches anyone in this league as he mentions how great Forests' away support is also. The City Ground is a decent atmosphere but no better than the Lane on a good day in my view.

He’s just a giddy kid who’s enjoying himself. Fair play, but he’s our player. We need to make sure our desperation to sign for them & their possible want for him means we maximise the price

I could see the reverse happening, with a bit of a Ramsdale situation occurring where Forest try to take advantage of the fact he seemingly wants to move to them. He’s said enough recently to show that so I hope we don’t cave in, I have more faith that we won’t then with previous regimes certainly.

He is still young, did cost a fair amount of money and has years left on his contract.

I could easily see him being here next year, especially if Forest get promoted because they’ll want a better quality player in his position. If we’re both in this league they might not agree with the price we want and we’ll see him as a more than adequate cover / first team player otherwise we’ll just have to replace him so his best chance might be if we get promoted and decide to cut our losses on a player who isn’t good enough for the Premier League.

RND improving all the time? Must have missed that. Very mediocre in every technical aspect, and not particularly fast, granted he’s physically strong for a wing back.

Max Lowe is proven as being one of the very best in the league in his position, RND would be somewhere bottom half as far as I can see.

Please someone tell me something he’s genuinely good at other than reliably giving away fouls

Tha bin smoking?

Easy to say he is surplus to requirements, but even with two players per position, we end up playing youngsters too soon. Full backs, centre backs midfielders have all been in short supply lately.
Is Billy seriously injured now or not?
Having said that, Lowe has not made much impact at the lane. If Forest come up with a decent offer, I’m sure he would be happy to go.

Makes sense.

I've been fairly disappointed with RND this season. Generally poor with a few better games. Still early days though. Presume we'll just run down Enda's contract. We have two for the position and Osborn (if we keep him). Not to mention Boyes.

I can’t understand why so many people seem to have taken against this lad. He was excellent at Reading last night, the best player on the pitch after McBurnie. His current rating of under 6 - worse than Bogle or Berge, really? - is a joke. I can only conclude it’s people with an agenda who weren’t at the match. He seems destined to be scapegoated even when he has a good game, which he did.

Didn't see last nights game but he has been poor for a while. RND coming back is a delight and much welcomed.

I’m falling off my chair. He was not the best player on the pitch at all. Far from it. Put in 1 good cross for Billy towards the last 10 minutes and that was all. I hope RND is fit soon. Desperately need him back.

He had a bit of a purple patch earlier on in the season, seen nothing since. I didn't think he was very good at all last night. Shame Ozzy has picked up a knock, otherwise I'd have been tempted to drop Lowe on Saturday.
