I cynical believe that most footballers are in it for the money. Red and white/blue and white/yellow shirts who cares. If the money on offer is equal, then sure, a player will ,more than likely go to the highest level UNLESS we can offer massive incentives for results related performances that achieve our aim of promotion. a contract with inducements is, IMO the way to attract better players who have an eye or two on the long game ------ MONEY.

Not getting much, if any, game time at Fulham, and his loan to Bristol City last year (?) proves he's not against the idea of dropping down a level.

For me, he'd be the perfect partner for Sharp upfront.

Strong, a bully, good in the air and can finish. Excellent all round striker.

I think he picked up a bad injury during the opening game of this season and only returned to fitness just before Christmas.

are Fulham looking to offload? he's played 12 games this season and was sidelines for a few weeks too, I would love to see him sign on loan and not have to watch that big dopey fish anymore but can't see them letting a player of his quality go, he's good back up for McCormack & Dembele should anything happen.

He was in some of my lectures at Manchester Uni - I knew he played semi-pro at the time, but strange to think that he is now playing Championship football.

He is a big guy though and just what we need from what I have seen of him. Much better option to Sammon.

If his stats are correct, he is 6ft 6!!!! Can you imagine, someone athletic with that sort height when the cross comes into the box! Decent scoring record too.

Re wages I heard (and obviously take this with a pinch of salt as it's surely not common knowledge) that he went from a few hundred a week at Oldham, to a few grand a week at Leeds and jumped to over £15k a week at Fulham.
