First 10 yards are in the head
Oh and I shook hands with Alan Knill after the game! I'm sure it was an honour for him.

Thanks to rompodebailey and his friends for letting me sit with them.
Heneghan's tall. Let's keep him.
Beyond anything else, look at this fucking view (the first thing my kids did when we got home was ask me to Google the Castle.. I told them Dracula lived there!):

Good luck for the rest of the season Matlock.
Riber Castle, used to be a zoo, spent many a Sunday there, including one day when I was throwing stones down a bank from the car park, mis-threw and clonked my Dad on the back of his headI've never run faster before or since
He still reminds me when we go to Matlock

Filmed in Matlock, yet to see it, everyone says its good.Featured in (often discussed forum film) Dead Man's Shoes too it seems.
We've done all the UK friendlies (except Northampton, as we had Tramlines tickets), and everyone in attendance today agreed Matlock was the best of them all.
It was treacherous as hell on the way there, flooding all over and some serious rain. We thought it might even be called off, but got there okay and toured some pubs beforehand and enjoyed a lovely couple of locally brewed ales in the Red Lion beforehand (good suggestion MTFC TV). Went to the chippy someone suggested above (it was just "okay", but cheap), then into the ground for a couple of Staropramens at a lower price than my local serves them!
Last week at Chesterfield I was stood watching the TV in the stands at half time, and a steward came over to me and (quite politely) pointed out that I was stood in the "yellow zone"... this was a set of painted yellow lines where you couldn't drink beer because, God forbid, if I looked to my left I could view the pitch while drinking a pint (I maybe had about 1cm of my ankle inside the dreaded "yellow zone"!). She was only doing her job, so of course, I politely shifted forward 1cm and we had a good laugh about it. But it's worth mentioning how great it is to be able to sup a pint while watching a game and what a pleasure it is to be able to mingle with opposition home fans! It really is time the Football Leagues started testing this out (even a select few fixtures in League Two).
We all had a great day out. We were treated respectfully by everyone (club officials and fans). Had an amazing view. The stewards even let us out at halftime to get some Peronis from the shop around the corner (sorry MTFC TV, it was just too damn hot in the club house to queue up again).
Big thanks to MTFC TV. I've seen you posting on here and Twitter and you've took the time to answer every question every blade asked of you. You're a credit to your club.

Bryan showed he has a decent level of technical ability for LCB. It's the first time I've thought this about him. Good attitude and application too.

Jake Wright exudes professionalism and good blokery. Give him a new contract.
I felt a bit sorry for the bar staff who I heard saying they were hoping to have a look outside. Not a chance unfortunately but you must have sold a lot of ale!
How many do you normally get for regular games?
