Im stood outside the toilets having a poo if anyone wants to come and telle to fuck off. :)

Be interesting to know how he did. Very early days of course but he was a surprising signing and would hope he was able to show something positive against Matlock.

Enjoyed tonight's outing. Warm welcome from Matlock Town, staff friendly and good humoured, food and drink to be had. Toilets disgusting.
Tidy ground in a pleasant area amongst many trees.
Badly thought out though, was putting the cricket pavillion with executive boxes on that hill.

YES, THIS

Bit of an own goal if you ask me.

Thanks to MTFC and GLTTLs.

Good night tonight all round, and my daughters first football ground. Pies were awful. 3 chavvy matlock fans behind me constantly making "jokes" about Ravel and coke. Midway second half I mentioned something about something and they finally shut up.
Amazing how it belted it down all the way there and all the way back. But nothing for the 90 minutes.
Was worth the journey.

Entertaining evening with biggey blade at Matlock tonight. Thought the youngsters did well but Morrison was a class apart on his own. Still rusty but showed glimpses of what he’s all about. Nice to see Jake Wright in a Blades shirt for the first time in a while. Stearman and Duffy looked very rusty but Kean Bryan gave food for thought in a midfield role. Mousset was rusty but obviously has pace. Slightly worrying to see him hit the deck at full time and limp off. A very smart (where’s the tracksuit?) Wilder with plenty of time for the kids photo opportunities at half time and amazingly not a drop of rain until we were back in the car. Enjoyable and worthwhile night :)

We've done all the UK friendlies (except Northampton, as we had Tramlines tickets), and everyone in attendance today agreed Matlock was the best of them all.

It was treacherous as hell on the way there, flooding all over and some serious rain. We thought it might even be called off, but got there okay and toured some pubs beforehand and enjoyed a lovely couple of locally brewed ales in the Red Lion beforehand (good suggestion MTFC TV). Went to the chippy someone suggested above (it was just "okay", but cheap), then into the ground for a couple of Staropramens at a lower price than my local serves them!

Last week at Chesterfield I was stood watching the TV in the stands at half time, and a steward came over to me and (quite politely) pointed out that I was stood in the "yellow zone"... this was a set of painted yellow lines where you couldn't drink beer because, God forbid, if I looked to my left I could view the pitch while drinking a pint (I maybe had about 1cm of my ankle inside the dreaded "yellow zone"!). She was only doing her job, so of course, I politely shifted forward 1cm and we had a good laugh about it. But it's worth mentioning how great it is to be able to sup a pint while watching a game and what a pleasure it is to be able to mingle with opposition home fans! It really is time the Football Leagues started testing this out (even a select few fixtures in League Two).

We all had a great day out. We were treated respectfully by everyone (club officials and fans). Had an amazing view. The stewards even let us out at halftime to get some Peronis from the shop around the corner (sorry MTFC TV, it was just too damn hot in the club house to queue up again).

Big thanks to MTFC TV. I've seen you posting on here and Twitter and you've took the time to answer every question every blade asked of you. You're a credit to your club.

Beyond anything else, look at this fucking view (the first thing my kids did when we got home was ask me to Google the Castle.. I told them Dracula lived there!):

Good luck for the rest of the season Matlock.

Very enjoyable and surprisingly no rain for the whole duration of the game. Probably should have scored more but to be fair the Matlock boys did really well.

Positives - Ravel has got great touch and great feet, Leon scored 2, K.Freeman and Duffy played well. I also thought Harry Boyes had a good game. Kean Bryan looked better as a centre mid than he did as a defender.
Negatives - Mousset looked well off it but it's early days, rompodebailey mentioned he had a 'good arse'

Thanks to rompodebailey and his friends for letting me sit with them.
