I needed to wait until Monday night, after Leeds v Sunderland, to have the full table to analyse and chat at the end of the weekend – but I’ve just plotted some of my graphs, and I couldn’t wait to put them up!
Graph 1 is my Paths to the Prem Graph, and we are now 5 points clear of my path to 92 points and automatics – so I am now forecasting a 97 point finish.
Just look at the beautiful way that the red and urine-coloured lines frame the 3 important season achievement paths from above and below.
Graph 1:

Graph 2 compares with our best recent promotion seasons from this level.
We are NINE points ahead of Wilder in 2018/19.
We are SIX points ahead of Hecky in 2022/23.
For the first time at this stage in any other season we have got LEVEL with Warnock in 2005/2006.
Graph 2:

As an added extra fact, especially for Silent Blade, our best performance in history at this level ended in a normalised (to the current system) 93 points under Reg Freeman in 1952/53.
We are 3 points ahead of that schedule. Graph 3 could be marking a path to Blades history.
