Good presentation Hal … can’t be easy going solo with no Nick to bounce off .. can never understand why the Sheffield United way gets loads of views but not as many likes .. anyway keep up the good work from an Irish Blade in Galway !!

Apparently Mousset could be back for Reading after a minor knock.

Wes to keep his place after a solid outing.
Basham was very good overall and showed desire. But after that it was average and poor from the rest. In general we were out fought in midfield until they made substitutions. We did get the upper hand but there is a lack of quality in our attacking play and it looks like some of the players haven't played together before.
It doesn't matter what team we pick, unless we get in 2 proper central midfielders we are not going to improve no matter what formation we are playing. Yes Hourihane came into the game late on but for the first 70 he was very poor. He doesn't work off the ball enough to get into position to receive a pass and he seems just to be going through the motions.

One thing we did learn is Bash makes such a difference in our back line. He should not be allowed to go anywhere in January . We have not got many clean sheets this season and he gives you a lot of confidence when he is in there.
