Park up at Heeley Farm (free) and walk down to the match, call at halfords on the way back.

I normally park up at Halfway park and ride (travel up from Staffordshire), and tram in to games. As the Brum game is late, and I've got a long journey on Sunday, I was thinking of parking near to the ground.

Where is the best place (happy to pay for a secure car park) to park, near to the ground, where it's relatively easy to get away after the match please?

I'd be heading for the M1 south if that makes a difference.

Casino on Queens Road usually ok £5 and very near.

You can park on Abbeydale Rd for free after 6pm. Park opposite Mount Pleasant park. If you're sharp to leave you'll be straight down Abbeydale Rd, up Woodseats Rd onto Chesterfield Rd to Meadowhead, then through Chesterfield to M1 South. There'll be limited traffic at 10pm ish Saturday night.

B&Q could make a fortune if they just sectioned an area of their car park off and charged £4 or £5 per vehicle. Easy money.

I use the tram or if it's cold I park anywhere I can find along abbeydale road side streets.

Supposed to only be for Casino patrons after 10.00pm though so you have to be away sharpish on 8.00pm kick off games but I've never had a problem, they did give you a big matchday parking ticket to put on your dash last time I parked there, you can only park next to the fence.

The mosque at the end of Wolseley Road has a good car park, you just need to pop inside and pray for 10 minutes on the way to the ground, so leave a few minutes extra. They can't touch you for it, and if you do it right, it guarantees a win for dem Blades.

The car park where Bramall Lane meets Queens Road offers secure matchplay parking for £5 a car. It used to be Mike Brewers Motors and it's just below J E James so not a long walk to the ground at all!

Some fans seem to park opposite Decathlon in the pay and display. I usually just use one of the multi story's on Eyre Street near enough to walk but far enough not to get too congested plus when you come out you are facing the way to go to the Parkway
