OK he wasn't man of the match (that was undoubtedly Enda), but what character this lad has shown since the Rotherham game. Played against the best winger in the division and came out on top. Really like how he whips the ball in early as well. OK he loses it sometimes (because he's basically a winger playing at left back), but the effort and application shown has been top class. I hope all us blades fans give him a fresh start and get behind him. This Chris Wilder bloke seems to know what he's doing doesn't he!!!!

I agree, but he doesn't get crosses in enough, and far to many times he loses or gives the ball away by making bad decisions.
I thought Stears had a great game when he came on, filled Egans boots brilliantly.
Get JOC back, and Stevens back on the left, and we will be in great shape to stick it in another gear and get our foot down!
And, the most exciting thing for me, is if we do get into the prem, can you imagine what Wilder and Knill could do with all that cash!!??

A capable understudy to Enda who also brings a bit of something different too with his early crosses and pace.

I was very critical of him, not just because of Rotherham, but it seems a bit of trust placed on him in big games has done him the world of good.

I like the fact he’s always looking to whip a good cross in early. I dislike the fact he gives the ball away carelessly at times and takes unnecessary risks. The jury is out for me because he hasn’t played many games. But if I had to call it now I’d have to say I’m not convinced he will be here this time next season.

He has all the bits and pieces to be a decent player. Seems to have a pretty good left foot, he’s very pacy and I actually think he’s better at defending than a lot of you are giving him credit for.

His weakness seems to be in his footballing brain. He makes some daft decisions at times and can be a little bit selfish on the ball. He’s a very competent backup though, I trust him far more since seeing him start a few games recently.

I can imagine that when he’s playing instinctively and with confidence he’s a formidable player. He’s got pace, power and decent delivery. But the bread and butter stuff seems to be challenge for him.

A prolonged run in a team at this level could well be the making of him. Whether that happens with us or someone else, who knows?

I'd guess at dropped out right, but not necessarily because of his performance v Bristol City, but looking at the game we knew it was to be tight, it wasn't a game where he could perhaps have influenced it.
