How overweight is he?
He's contracted a flesh eating disease that destroys tissue at the rate of 3lbs per day. Doctors have given him 158 years to live.

How overweight is he?
Maybe up to a stone. That extra weight helps him be strong but he was always strong enough earlier in his career when in my recollection at least he was lighter and quicker than he is now. I think he can get the balance better physically.
Wonder how he went on today?
Scored?
Subbed?
Injured?![]()
Ipswich forums in meltdown at the confirmed bid. Hopefully this one comes off. Be an astute signing for this league which will show clear intentions to the current crop of players we have.
Without wishing to put Roygbiv out of a job...
This would p*ss me off big time tbh, everyone has a price but f*ck me without him we have no goals in us, the club supposedly want 7 Million for Waggy so I can see some kind of compromise happening here and him going. PH was on the radio this morning saying he cannot guarantee Waghorn will be here on the opening day. Feel totally deflated at this news, one step forward, Three back.
They sell David a brooks for 12million then get Waghorn for 5? That would be a joke. Brooks is a half decent youngster but no way he is worth over 2x Waghorn?
If we do decide to sell I think the minimum we should be asking for is 7 million + add ons.
My concern is if he goes we end up with another Murphy situation, panicking and getting in a Leon Best type of player again.
f*ck it, call me a glory supporter, but we've all sat through enough sh*t for the last 15 years, if this happens, then I'm gone until we have something to cheer about again. With the weakness of the squad, this would be suicide. Webster and Waghorn gone, they were the only players at the cub I rated above average and would turn up to see.
I think PH has said he wants Waghorn at the club but this will come down to ME and what he decides, I can't see a bid of Six Million plus being turned down personally. As pissed off as I would be much depends on his replacement and a 3 or 4 million pound purchase at least would be a must !!! Hopefully Waggy will say he wants to stay !!! As for Webster Ricco, I couldn't care less tbh.
This from 'Tractorboys', the prostitute-murdering capital of East Angular.
Would be interested to hear what the Ipswich vlogger Benjamin Bloom thinks on the matter – very reasonable assessments of our games last season.
I think it's got to be pretty close, wilder never mentions interest or bids in until it's near completion. Maybe smoke and mirrors about Ipswich's situation in regards with the bid. What do people think about Wilders interview? Particularly around the forthright way he came out and said we had a bid in for MW. Not like him to be like that, especially when ITFC haven’t acknowledged our interest specifically.
Games? Confidence? Warning to existing strikers?

Games for me. Similar to Coady last year. What do people think about Wilders interview? Particularly around the forthright way he came out and said we had a bid in for MW. Not like him to be like that, especially when ITFC haven’t acknowledged our interest specifically.

Sounds nervous about the situation doesn’t he?
That’s how I read itSounds nervous about the situation doesn’t he?
I’ll go;That’s how I read it
I found the Coady one a little odd - almost to the point I didn’t believe him.
I’m seeing this one in a similar way.
I’ll go;
Bid rejected Monday.
Improved bid by Wednesday
Signed by Friday.
Chilling on Sunday.
I don’t see it like the Coady bid at all. The Coady bid was never realistic - he was wolves captain, they were spending shit loads, obviously going to be in the promotion mix, our bid wasn’t enough.
This is Ipswich we’re talking about, we’ve obviously got cash to play with and this seems to have been going on for some time - Coady was one surprise bid and end of story.
More likely to be:
Put another bid on Monday
Rejected again on Tuesday
Then we moved onto Walters by Wednesday
And signed him next Saturday
and we all cried on Sunday
It needs some more work granted!
Hoping the interest in Waghorn comes off, and in preference to someone unproven like Sam Gallagher. I would guess that McGoldrick will also be signed so essentially we'll have Ipswich Town's strikeforce from last season, which might not sound inspiring but Mick McCarthy's defensive football is the main reason there. To score 16 goals in an average Ipswich team is very impressive and he is a dead ball specialist also. If we do sign him we need someone with pace in the hole as neither Waghorn or McGoldrick plus the existing players have any - up top or in midfield.
It was danny Webber and Bruce dyer ,I thinkDoes also remind me of the Warnock video. Can't remember who it was he signed, but he was trying to see if one of his team mates would be interested and warnock asked him to phone him up and check.
With McGoldrick in the building....
