Well Carney was played on the Right Wing....you swap in over - sorted.

In the previous game though last week, Carney had his most influential game on the right. So no need to swap.

But you said why play a player in a role that he isn't accustomed to. Carney is well accustomed to Left Midfield. It was a completely different game yesterday against different players so should it matter if he plays on the left or right of midfield?

so keef who has played on the right wing the majority of his career is less accustomed to that role than a youth coming through?

I totally disagree with anyone who says Martin was 'Dire', he was far from it. Martin and Geary were the only two players that were everywhere, they got back, they pushed up, Martin's corners and free kicks were dangerous too. He was great, a good signin

GEARY? WTF? that was the worst game he's had in a blades shirt.

Carney is not adverse to playing on the right wing, if stories are to be believed from down under.

martain has had one game so you cant compare him to a player who has played a while.

Problem being.... people wanted Keith dropping, some wanted him never to play a game for us again....

Where are we going to find a replacement of the class we require with the same experience?

Hense its a young and promising player, if you can't play them in pressure games, they'll never ever get a game barring pre-season and nothing matches when points aren't needed.

Main problem being Keef has been playing in a much more central role this year, seeing as we're not playing with wide men, and it doesn't suit him. That's why he doesn't look as good.

Let's go back to playing with wide men, so that our players who are naturally wingers play in their normal roles. It's not rocket science.

its one thing to put him in a derby but hes only been with us about 5 days prior. Stead would have been a better option as we could easy change tactics if need be.

He's played in an Old Firm match, and did well yesterday in a match which didn't have a particularly great atmosphere anyway.

comparing a player to another player on one performance is different than saying he had a crap game.

compared to the standard he needs to be playing at, he was poor. i thought he had a poor first game and he may improve with time.
