So, this is our saviour? Just signed until end of the year.

All we need now is Evans back for Ex-Con strike force!

Signed till the end of the season. Can we merge these threads.

Anyway, some of the play our current team has produced recently is criminal and ring leader Weir is still here haha

Unless our players start being a bit more positive, I can't see him making any difference whatsoever.

Need some positive fullbacks as a priority if he wants to persisit with his current philosophy.

Seriously, what we are doing signing a misogynistic, convicted of receiving stolen goods forward with, according to Wikipedia, 14 previous convictions?

No offence to anyone on here, but prepare to see the fickleness of footy fans. For coms Saturday, after 3pm, if he bangs one in, the people slagging him off will be jumping with joy.

Clearly, hes a category 5 bell end. However, hes not escaped from prison, hes served his sentences and is a free man. I dont want him to date our lass, I want him to put the bastarding ball in the net, which he is quite good at.

Trying to find a striker who can score?

Leave the moralising to the courts. Until we find another decent striker. :)

As a ST holder, I feel I am more than entitled to an opinion over whom the football club signs, as is every other paying customer. If you want to call it moralising, then so be it, but nothing will change the anger I feel about this.

Hang on a minute, are you putting Jordan Robertson in the same league as Lee Hughes or is all guilty the same?

Soz, didn't realise he was yer mate.
Just being flippant for the sake of gallows humour.
All done time is the con-nection so don't read too much into it.
We're all touchy today aren't we?

Oh dear.

I've no problem with ex-convicts making a living after release and going about rehabilitation, for the sake of themselves and society. King however appears to enjoy being a career criminal who just happens to know how to kick a ball. Earning that much money should mean you can pay car insurance, don't have to buy stolen goods etc. Also, being a role model means he really should have grown out of breaking women's noses, sexual assualt etc

That's the moralist in me, it's not just about his past, it's about his past under the circumstances and it's about his inability to learn.

Anyway, he's only been arrested twice this year, one as recently as 6 weeks ago for hit and run.

bailed until Mid-September, I guess that means now, and so I guess that means he's just got the word that he won't be charged?

A signing I'd hope we'd never see in a United shirt.

Not an ideal signing but look at this, we're deep in the sh*te and in need of points like never before.

Until the Saudi Blade-Aid money kicks in we need some points on the board, I for one remember the feeling of the drop into the bottom division and really don't want that to happen again, morally not the best signing but how many will welcome Ched back once he's served his time if it meant staying up or promotion.

After all the Evans crap, we do this. Unbelievable.

Here's my view...
The guy is an utter scumbag off the pitch. However, if he is scoring regularly for us then I shall be supporting him just like I was with Ched (football terms). My feelings won't change towards him outside of football but it's as simple as that in my opinion.

I bet 25 goals this season will.

For me;

Minor shoplifting = 5 goals
Regular speeding offences = 10 goals
GBH etc= 20 goals
Mass Murder = 30 Goals.

I think the club have this one about right, TBH.

;)
