On the subject of the players feeling support from the fans, I was astonished with the support afforded to them in the second half against Crawley. Me, I was slumped in my chair counting how many more ruined weekends will I have to endure like this. However the Kop got quite noisy and supportive against every handball, free kick etc. the ref didn't give.

If any players are dreading running onto the Bramall Lane pitch at 3pm on a Saturday (and I bet there are a few) then that tells us all we need to know about their character. I hope whoever comes in quickly identifies the bad attitudes within the squad such as Doyle's 'do as I say not as I do' hypocritical style of leadership', Maguires 'I'm frustrated so i'll boot anything and anyone in any direction' and Marlon Kings 'I've got nothing to prove to nobody'.

Whoever comes in has to sort the defence. The full backs are the weak link and every one of them can go. Hate to say this but not sure about the keeper either. A high % of shots go in.
