yeah well done MM

can't be easy seeing Done come in and straight in the side, so hats off. No sulking, just show em all where the net is and mek em av it :)

Great finish and he has got something. But he has had too many games where he just doesn't put the effort in. Southampton at home he was awesome. Then ?
He is only 22 and he does seem to know where the goal is.
I can forgive any player who comes off at the end of game having left it all on the pitch but I'm not sure he does every week.
I hope Nige can get through to him because he could be a great asset.

What a great goal tonight.

Started with Kennedy(?) winning the ball, great close passing, great through ball, great movement, and a great finish.

Bloody great.

How come he went off at half time?

Don't think its that he has games he doesn't put effort in, just don't think he saw it as necessary to run when Clough saw necessary, which he's now addressed. Done for example probably runs more than he has to, obviously not complaining. I expected McNulty to do well tonight now there's competition, ridiculous finish, shame he got injured.

Hes wank according to the guy who was stood behind me tonight.... Offers nothing.... He soon shut up, what a goal
Think I was stood on the other side of him. I was surrounded by wankers tonight ,Brandy youre a cotton picker was the highlight :(

That's embarrassing. I don't se the point in abusing Brandy so much, he's irrelevant. He didn't intend to be awful for us, and his stay was cut short, move on.

He seems to be getting worse to me ,very poor player compared to the performance he gave against Notts C

Great effort from him tonight and looked to me like done signing/performances has given him something to think about. Could they play together?

It's strange how players form can change so much some times. In the front 3 at Walsall with Grigg and Paterson he looked the best at times, those two have managed to improve their careers while his seems to be steadily falling.

It is embarrassing.

I think the miss and red against mk and dismissal at Shrewsbury, which cost us vital points, are why he got the boos.

Yeah, but he wasn't intentionally shit, feel like booing makes him seem more important than he was. Im sure he's more dissapointed his time here failed than we are.

And not even a booking. Looked a bad one at the time.

Not only not a booking, the ref allowed play to continue, so not even a foul. We immediately pinged the ball forward and lost it, so that was no advantage and he could have brought it back.

Clough said afterwards he had a cut leg, not surprised.

13 points from 15 is it?

7 games in February - 13 points from 18 so far with one left to go - another 3 points and we should start to feel more relaxed about getting a playoff position (7 points clear of Donny and Bradford now) and kick on with chasing the automatics in case the ones ahead of us slip up ( still got a game in hand on 3 of the 4 and they have to play each other - though Preston are finding a bit of form again with 12 points out of the last 12).

Brandy is an enigma we are well shut of - but what a demise - 26 years old, former Manchester United starlet and now (if you count 2 stints at Swansea and Walsall) on his 12th club.

Just seen McNulty's goal, yet again another cracking finish. The boy really can finish. He also seems genuinely happy to wait for his chances and try to take them when they come along.

I also noticed that when he scored, he turned and ran straight to the corner where two subs were warming up. The player he went to celebrate with? Matty Done. I really am excited that next season, whatever division we're in, we've got a lot of goal scorers in the team and players like Done and McNulty competing for places its extremely healthy.

Take note Diego, work hard and it pays off.

Pity a guy from Chesterfield , doesn't listen to Mr Clough more often seems to make a bit of sense , what with having youngsters in the team as well .
Good goal nuttsy just run more .

Swiss, you really ought to consider your very own opinion page in the match day programme. Your header could be you in Churchillian stance, draped in Blade's merchandise (not that you aren't anyway), dispensing your usual worldly paternalism. Think it's a goer, waddya think?

Just seen the replay. Looks like Davies to me rather than Done?

Not to piss on your chips or anything, but pretty sure the two subs were Freeman and Davies :)
