Tronstad is much more appealing, was a standout in a poor Blackburn side and would give us some physicality in midfield.

I'm a big Wilder fan, but if we're actually looking at players like this guy, then I'm already really worried about the summer.

If he's not good enough for Birmingham, then he's not good enough for us. I know there's an exception in Duffy, but Trusty and Chong also played for Brum recently, before signing for us, and look at how shit they were/are.

As for doing well at Hearts, I reckon I could look a player in that league. I watched Hibs Celtic the other day and the quality is utterly dire. Most sides are League Two/League 1 at the very best, with Celtic/Rangers/Hearts at lower mid-table Champ standard. Who was that player Brum signed in the summer for nearly £10M? Kyogo? The guy who couldn't stop scoring for Celtic. He's got 1 goal in 28 games.

Slightly confused on your argument considering Trusty won Birmingham's player of the year before we signed him and Chong had a season good enough that Luton signed him for the premier league the year after (where he also had a semi-respectable season)

Think he wanted Leonard in Jan but for whatever reason it didn't happen so maybe lazy journos putting 2 and 2 together with him being at the Hearts game. Could well have been looking at Cameron Devlin, (contract up in the summer) or perhaps he was just taking the game in whilst on a mini break?

Clear communication is vitally important to help build bridges … my personal opinion we will hear the same phrases we hear every year “waiting for prem teams to make signings” “once we get him up to speed” and a new one “the World Cup has made things more difficult”
