No. Not really.
Most people have a view on it one way or another. Id probably worry is anyone was on the side of Hamas, but other than that im sure everyone is adult enough to keep it away from their job and the game.

I have my own personal views on what’s happening but I have zero interest in judging Manor Solomon based on his. As an Israeli, I would expect him to have strong views, and he is entitled to them. Frankly I couldn’t care less what he thinks. Particularly considering his views are so hard to find you need to go digging for screenshots of a Instagram story which no longer exists. If he joins, I’ll judge him based on what he does on the pitch and brings to the team.

He’d be paid for his ability to kick a bag of wind about. He’s entitled to his views and he’ll have his own conscious and unconscious bias like everyone does. If I was the manager, I’d be asking him to keep his views to himself to avoid distraction.

From what I have seen, everything that Soloman has posted specifically in relation to Hamas, has been absolutely spot on.

I have been against the expansion of the Israeli state for as long as I have been old enough to really think about it, and him and I would most likely disagree strongly on the role of the IDF. But he will be naturally biased and has been closer to this than I ever will be.

There are 2 antagonists in this war, with millions of decent and innocent people stuck in between. Twas ever thus.

In footballing terms, this is a no brainer.

If this is possible we should really push the boat out for him on loan this season. Henry is a game changer at Championship level. I agree with others that from what I saw last season he was often equally if not more effective than Gus Hamer.

He did well at Leeds last year he’s a good player we should leave politics out of it if we did sign him he’s here to play football an that’s it what’s it matter where he’s from ? Long as he does his job on pitch I’ve no issues with it I think it would be a very good signing if it’s possible we should be all over it
