Did you think we would sign Tanganga earlier this summer ? Anything is possibleNot going to happen, but would be fantastic if it did (quality player).

You would hope so, given the monumental mess we made of the squad in January.More important,y do the owners know there’s a limit?
What Israel has been doing in Palestine for many, many years is abhorrent.
Wouldn't be comfortable about signing him.
We weren’t holding Marlon King liable for the actions of the British Army though were we?Reminiscent of when we signed Marlon King
No but i am not sure King openly declared his admiration and support for them. Either way just the responses in this thread tell you it is a divisive signingWe weren’t holding Marlon King liable for the actions of the British Army though were we?
Agreed. We also sit here in our Ivory Towers commenting on things happening in the world when the majority of the issues have arisen due to our historical past, drawing lines on maps, making decisions we wanted to make because we did what we wanted to do.I’ve read some utter bollocks on here over the years but being against the club signing a player (on loan) simply because of their (supposed) geopolitical views is a new low.
It’s particularly ironic given the club has recently changed ownership following a period under a KSA government minister. While you’re at it, why not list all other views / beliefs you require to be considered by the recruitment team. No Russian, Chinese or American nationals perhaps? Anyone with a view on South African or Zimbabwean regimes, or maybe even anyone that doesn’t share the same views as you on what the current UK government has implemented since coming into power? See how ridiculous it all sounds?!?!
FWIW - as long as their beliefs / views / comments are legal, it is thought they can improve the side and they want to come, I don’t give a toss. We’re talking about recruiting professional footballers here, not UN diplomats.
Within reason I agree with Harry Bassets view that he "Doesn't sign players he wants to potentially marry his daughter but to do a job for the football club".Just in terms of it being a divisive signing

Chiswick sounds a but of a racist. He both denounces genocide, but then supports it?Is this guy Cheswick of any substance?

He's no doubt pro Israel because he's Israeli but I dont see a problem with that myself and I'm pro Palestine but granted I'm not a muslim or from an Islamic country.
It does matter, but not to us, it's important to consider the views of the players over anything.I’ve read some utter bollocks on here over the years but being against the club signing a player (on loan) simply because of their (supposed) geopolitical views is a new low.
