Haven't we had 4 or 5 Blades that have managed us ... Wilder, Adams, Mr Wanker, Queenie Thompson (temp) and old Cec (caretaker boss and assuming Cec was a Blade, although I don't know that for sure, I'm sure older Unitedites would be able confirm or not?)

Apparently Bryan Robson was a big fan of 'United' too........

Have we not had more fans as manager than any other club?

I'd say yes, if we're talking about true fans, people who grew up supporting us.

I'd assume that our early managers for quite a while after we were formed were also fans because it would have taken about a month to get a promising manager in from London by stagecoach.

Funny thing is, our best period of success came at a time when United fans were "probably" managers
The only minor successes we've had over the last 20 years have also come when a United fan was manager

Under the management of Chris Wilder, Sheffield United sit top of the Championship table, just over two years since the Blades fan took over the then League One side.

M, M, Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm :)
